Unfortunately no. It's more likely to occur if you are standing at an angle from it, but it can happen from any side. And by "at an angle" I mean this: imgur.com/51f8EFk (not my picture). Only real way to "avoid" it is to click the chest and then horizontal walk away, but you only have 1 or 2 frames to do it and as Warrior you never know which chest is trapped. Also, don't stand next to walls or obstacles (i.e. skewered corpses in Hell) when opening them. Even if the fire arrow misses you, it will hit the wall and the fire damage will still take place in the tile itself where you are. Would be exactly the same as if it did hit you.
@@diablo_sb Oh ok, I got it, pretty sad to die from this thing, especially when u have a pretty decent run and next second u just die to a chest trap glitch >_< Thanx!
