  • We took a trip to the closest park to test out the new 70/30 gear reduction in our Yamaha yxz. Also, we rolled a Polaris RZR! Hill climbs, rock climbing, mudding, and donuts.

    What made you get rid of the rzr?

    • @BlownBudgetOffroad

      Dr.Z Fabrication just couldn’t keep it together with our style riding and wanted to try a different machine

    We need an exclusive YXZ channel! I could care less about the belt driven machines!

    Do you guys know what your top speed is with those gear reductions? Also what is it like between first and second gear?

    • @BlownBudgetOffroad
      @BlownBudgetOffroad  5 лет назад

      Dan Matz we haven't ran any high speed stuff to know what they top out at. I personally think that they should have the overdrive 5th gear which none of our rigs have.
      The jump from first to second is great.

    What do y’all use to edit your vids? Thanks

    Love the video, but that guy in the blue one should really learn to drive more aggressively.
    Also on the slick Hill he should have grabbed second. The hill was plenty slick to hold high rpms and the wheel speed might've helped!

      Thanks for the input glad you liked it. I’ve had serious issues breaking machines so sometimes try to stay outta the skinny pedal if I can. But I can honestly say I don’t really agree with that statement of me not driving aggressive lol but check out our other vids, they’re a lot better then this one! This one was just some iPhone clips we threw together

      @@BlownBudgetOffroad Yeah I understand you there. I haven't broken anything on my Z other than crashing it on a jump so I tend to thrash on it. Seems like that's the only way I can keep up with my RZR buddies on the more gnarly obstacles. Can't tell you how many times I've dropped the clutch at redline.
      I'm sure if I broke something I'd drive like you do.

    The only thing I hate is that with every sxs going to these ridiculous tire sizes they beat up the trails so bad normal atvs can barely ride on them.

    • @BlownBudgetOffroad
      @BlownBudgetOffroad  5 лет назад +1

      Matt Smith we are only running 30s, the trails are that bad from being washed out has nothing to do with tire size.

    • @BlownBudgetOffroad
      @BlownBudgetOffroad  5 лет назад +1

      Matt Smith these are also trails ran by trucks with 37-40” tires
