Bought a 2016 YXZ brand new for $16500 OTD. I beat it hard in the Glamis Sand dunes and it was awesome! Put almost 7000 miles on it and it was flawless!
@@edc1451 Man, makes me happy and sad…I loved that YXZ but my life has been turned upside down since then. I’m doing much better now! Thank you for the message!
Glad to see them giving the YXZ some love and not just letting it slowly fade away. Great review Stephan. That’s how a review should be done on here. 🙌🏻
Love the yxzs got the 22 xtr model myself with the Tactical Black colors it looks like the freaking bat mobile I made it street legal and haven't looked back almost 2200 miles and loving every minute of it I'm still completely stock as well threw in a sound system front rear windows some turn signals and a harder compound tire and I am hooked. If this one ever tears up ill find another one that's how good these machines are to me
This is a great machine for the price and if you like to tool around it's great. Add power and speed and it likes it. It's a really interesting vehicle and I want one so bad. They can be had in the US market for 15 k
Love yxz Only 2 options in my opinion were the yxz and the x3 xrs rr. Ended up with the x3, but from time to time i think back wondering if i should have went with the yxz threw a turbo and a long travel kit on it to widen it up, and would have had everything i wanted. I love shifting, but with the 24 being full auto as an option on the fly, it entices me really hard. Probably my next machine. Thanks for the review
Great video Steve! How long before they cross the Rubicon and bring out something road-legal? What would it need, tire fenders, lights and a crumple zone? Cheers gents!
No belt, different auto shift modes, radiator behind cab=no hot feet, easy to work on are all plus's in my book. Plus it's a Yamaha. I have a 23 950Zforce for sale now, like new condition.
Keep making them more expensive and powerful, and the guys at the shop get to ride free when they come in for maintenance and repairs. The most I ever paid for a wheeler was $3500, and I get to drive machines that cost 10 times that amount. Love those who play one up with their friends!
Had 3 yxz and currently a rmax 4….yxz is an amazing machine but the rmax is best all around East coast riding machine and still fun power and suspension. I had 16 yxz and did the tubeworks 70/30 and was a crawl monster but loss in top speed sucked and rpm high/louder. The 19s did better with lower gears but could been better and now this 6 speed really is an amazing evolution and addresses any hearing issues…still power and ground clearance could be next updates but also easily addressed in aftermarket. 32s and turbo still be way cheaper than a pro R or x3 and more reliable
You should do a shoot out with the Honda and check out how similar they are and which one has the best features
This is, hands down, the best power sports channel on RUclips. Fantastic content!!!!!! Keep up the great work pal.

Love the Raptors but still miss your YXZ content! ✌

Folks have already been saying this in all your videos, but these reviews are outstanding.

by far the best side by side yamaha reliability what else can you say for around 20k
with high end power comes high end prices... and $27K for a 4 wheeler is already crazy.
So worth it though. Especially when you have a buddy with one or you join a riding group.
At $22,000 I’m buying 2 of them over some of the other choices
I’ve seen low mileage 23’s going for 17-18k reasonable I thought
2024 on sale near me for $17K right now!
I have a Viking that I love and trail ride it everywhere and my buddy just got the 24 yxz1000 and it is a blast 😊
Another great UTV review.
A true low range and a 31 inch tire with a tad more storage would be amazing for a redesign.
they should come with 32inch tire and 72 inch wide honestly. 29 inch tires suck for just about everything except probably mud
You deserve way more subs😊
The Yamaha is overlooked and is a awesome sxs. I long traveled mine and it eats up everything. You don't need a can am or a Razor.
Hey great review! I just bought 2024 wolverine X2 1000 and so far love it. Just wondering where you're riding in this video. I'm in Ontario too.

Where did you see a price that low for a new '24 model?
Love yxz

Great video. I love my 21 SS SE
Awesome video! I'm going to the dealership tomorrow to see about trading in my Rmax 😎
Really! What are you looking for more in the yxz over the Rmax?

I'm a ATV guy but this machine is sick!

Honestly I've never had a problem with hot feet in my 16 se.
So what do have do if you put on a windshield on it for the air flow to the rad
It also pulls air in from under the bed at the back. You can add a windshield with no issues
I want to try the manual six speed. I have a 2021 and that new super low first gear looks very tempting.
so the 6th gear is for lower speeds i wasn’t sure

It would be nice if Yamaha would make these 60 inches wide or under.
Are the front and rear wheels the same offset on this model? I know the xtr has matching but wasn’t sure on the lower trim packages.
The XTR beadlocks aren't square. Most like myself are buying front XTR beadlocks off those upgrading their rims to run a square setup.
Offset is the same all around
I still would love the RMAXX. just in case I have utilities to do. Love the rock crawl abilities of it.
The 24 YXZ is now a very capable rock crawler.

Shame they havnt redisigned the suspension with something decent.
Where are you all located? Come do a review on my Evo tuned Maverick r in Kentucky
It may not be as updated but hear me out... they've got one of the best of the lot short course cars.
Can this go anywhere an Rmax would go?
Yes it can.
WHY DIDNT YAMAHA JUST ADD A LOW RANGE? WOULDA SOLVED ALL THEIR GEARING ISSUES.
