I want to follow God better. I need prayer.. I am very distant and I try to avoid sinning but the devil wakes me up in the night, every night 3 or 4 am and tempts me and I fall into sin.. how do I avoid this constant awakening from satan?
Submit to God, *resist* the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7). Next time you wake up. Try praying. Praise and worship God. Night time is the best time to pray.
I can not give you the right answer, but, try to pray at that moment, or, try to put some sermons to listen, you can sing the songs, even if you maybe don't want because there is also power in music and most of all, try to be aware of God's presence and His angels. Pray to God about this situation and be honest with Him, speak with Him because He is ever present help in a time of need. If you don't have a enough faith to overcome this thing, go to your church and let the mens of faith pray for you. I don't consider myself much of a person to give advice, but this is what I might do. May God bless you to have a enough faith and strengths to overcome this thing. I will keep you in prayer. Shalom!
