Remember when we got 4 new seasonal skins a season and they looked good?
Pepperidge Farm remembers...
but yeah, all seasonal skins (in battlepass and in-game shop) are so bland and often just cheap repeating patterns ( of animals or just geometrical shapes)...
I mean this is the forth or fifth seasonal "destroyed weapon skin" pattern we got (e.g. operation Neon Dawn and Heavy Mettle to name a few)
Remember when it was somewhat serious game without LGHDTV agenda, but we're told we exaggerating.... Nothing bad could happened.

They just put the others behind battle pass, which makes it easier to get, though it sucks that they are not achieveable with renown now but it is what it is.

Operation Ruin Recruit & Milk Players For Money
extremely minimalistic reworks and remasters, seasonal weapon skins that look cheaply made (repeating patterns or this stupid "destruction" pattern => look at Heavy Mettle or Neon Dawn seasonal skins and you know what I mean), cheating is steadily increasing each season, no new maps (at max small tweaks), almost no new guns per year...
but hey at least we get battlepasses, a marketplace, a subscription service, more and more skins that can only be bought via R6credits and multiple "welcome bundles" a season to give Ubi as much of our money as possible...if Ubi would only work a fraction as hard as they are working on more possibilities to monetizing this game, we would swim in skins as good-looking as Leon Furioso and ops as game changing as Mira and Azami

It's just so insulting.. I came back after 5 years to see that we now get NO new ops, no new map, no new guns, no new seasonal skins, the seasonal intro screen is gone... And they are adding a subscription even though they are doing LESS than ever.... They got handed a golden opportunity with Jynxzi reviving the game just for them to do nothing and be greedy
Tbf this new season is the only season which seems underwhelming in a WHILE ... Last 2 years have been absolute bangers with every new operator changing the meta from azami tubaro ram solis fenrir brava having too much to work with ... Trust me u wont be disappointed with new ops

The typos and errors in the patch notes really shows how much effort they’ve been putting into siege lately.
Why is everyone complaining about the new season? Just look at all of the new ways you can spend money on the game. I've never been more excited to play Siege.
there's been an insane amount of spelling/visual mistakes in the promo/update stuff recently from Ubisoft, I'm not a stickler for that kinda stuff but its been ludicrously often recently
They should of brought back Bartlett uni for the playlist, over so much crap stuff you get this season. Operation nothing for a while.
Interro explained it pretty well why Bartlett isnt coming back. Optics, it looks bad when your game has a game mode about terrorists occupying a university building. which is why they reworked it into Emerald Plains

More maps in quick match, I like that. The player comfort stuff is nice too. And OG barbwire! I’ll have to make sure my squad knows, they’re the types of players to die by barbwire when their hp is low 😂

Ubisoft gotta stop with adding these extra modes, does anyone play them? I like the event modes but the arcade playlist I forget is even there until someone mentions it, same with the firing range like it's cool but im never gonna warm up with that, maybe its just me but I wish they would focus on actual core game stuff cuz we are clearly lacking on content this whole year
I play death match and free for all alot, mainly for warm up
The shooting range for warmup is really handy. Small red balls, 30 seconds, all random and you’re gonna feel your aim improving

I bought the prior season year pass that was available and battle pass. I think I spent roughly $100 like two days later my hands got injured and I couldn’t play the game for almost a year and a half and now I’m back there shouldn’t be anybody taking anything away from anybody it’s ridiculous!

I dont get the ai versus mode, what was cool about t hunt was they had the entire map covered it traps and stuff, it felt different, I would just play quick match instead of the ai playlist, maybe it's just me but just boring, especially cuz its ai bots and they just have the most insane aimbot and recoil, they just stand there and flick at you, which there's bots but they got Hella aim bot

Just gonna say it. Why limit the arsenal for the recruit selection? One of the big appeals early on imo for picking recruit was that wide array of weapons initially something that no other ops had access towards. The two secondary gadgets are nice (even if it’s like the weakest thing) but they streamlined all the weapon variety for genericness. I think they should’ve had the two recruits be able to use at least most of the the non specialist weapons (ie no Tachanka DP-28, Kali Sniper, Blitz Shield etc) instead they just seem worse for variety. I know for balancing but come on you’re sacrificing a potentially powerful gadget slot for more firepower or broader utility with secondary gadgets. As it stands I don’t think there’s a reason to pick these recruits
They've already gotten extremely relaxed with cosmetics. I don't even know why we have a marketplace. But of course they'd add a new paywall for cosmetics to pave the excuse for such marketplace. This is such a poor excuse for a new season.
This season is full of changes no one wants, I dont even play Solis and that nerf is insane. The recruit rework is almost nothing compared to now except now only 1 person can play them, yay no more recruit rushes. Just so underwhelming and a waste this whole year is basically 2 new ops, 1 reworked, no new maps. What happened to 8 new ops 4 new maps a year, I dont fault them on the maps but jesus not even 1 a year?
Game is balanced for competitive, Recruit rush is not competitive.

@@keatonwastaken I know that's what I hate, they balance the game for the pro's and not the community, that's why Solis is getting hit so hard, that's why they nerfed goyo when he launched even tho at the time everyone said he was the worst op and he still caught a nerf. That's why the lighting is not as cool and realistic anymore that's why night maps are gone, because pros don't like these things, I hate it
@@joshuagentry-1388 Large portion of the community is competitive players as the game is designed to be a competitive game, it just makes sense for them to prioritize it over the smaller and less consistent casual playerbase.
@@Cheesemaste2455 Could be a way to make it work, but that can also bring its own issues where you cant practice new recruit in quick play etc.

They killed Solis, she needed a nerf but my god they went way too far with those nerfs. Why remove her impacts? They made it so you can’t make rotations now unless you take primary shotgun effectively making the P90 useless. On top of that they made it so you can’t activate her gadget unless it’s 100% charged!?!? Why? Reduced range and reduced battery? Sure you could argue one of those was needed but both of them? On top of all the other changes she’s getting? AND THEIRS A PART 2 STILL COMING? It’s very clear what Ubisoft is doing, they regret making this op to begin with and have no idea what their doing, rather than actually balancing her without destroying her, they took the fun out of playing Solis and made her a horrible roamer. If these changes stick and part 2 comes out next season I am never touching Siege again, this is taking a sledgehammer to a nail and destroying the wooden board in the process.
You know if they didn’t market everything like they were actually trying this all wouldn’t be received so bad. It’s the fact they spend to much time marketing how much effort they put in and how new everything is to just put bandaids and makeup on the game

Its a good chill map for Qm stop hatin on the og maps that are well made ... Newer maps are ass they are boxy and only made for comp settings

Ubisoft CORPORATE, on the other hand, probably slashed the funding and told the devs "Make this work. Oh, and put more microtransactions in the game."
once people like Coreross and Garfield look at ubi's finances they'll get why siege has been bare average for a while now. Ubi need something big to pop off for Siege to not be the big cash cow that props them up. XDefiant could be huge for siege as opposed to being bad for it if they manage it well and given Mark Rubin has the reigns and seems to know how to handle Corporate we might get some improvement in a year or maybe earlier.

The Year pass was such a good enough system, but the subscription service just isn't it. It is a worse product with monthly payments. I get greedy shareholders, but who at Ubisoft thought that it would work?
Gave up on this game, I made my peace with it. Moved on to other games that need to be given a chance. Time is valuable and it wont be going to this dead game the developers clearly are showing us they dont care about.

Subscription is fine most games trying to do that but if you don't like it don't buy it but for God sake Ubisoft should stop recoloring the same skins over and over again. Every single season we get same skins with different colors and Ash is NOT the only operator in the game. Aruni still has no elite or any cool skin but no they MUST bring another skin for Ash. I swear to God their CEO or someone has Ash fetish in Ubisoft but I can't prove that but that is obvious.
