Some advice for those still getting these now, not all the curved parts are exactly the same so it gives your greenhouse a lumpy look if you dont catch it, yes, they are all labelled the same. Im not tearing it down so deal with it critics.
Hi, thanks for a great useful video, quick question, is the new cover you attached only attached to the timber near the bottom or have you secured it to the frame itself in some way? ....and is it still going 2 years later
This might be a daft question but how do you screw the wooden posts into the metal polytunnel frame, do you use a drill and just drill a screw through the wood into the metal?! I feel like that might damage it but I've never built a polytunnel before so I'm not sure. Also, where did you buy your replacement polytunnel plastic cover?
Valid point but all I did was use long screws drilled clearance hole on the post and screwed directly into the metal tube. You could use metal strap bent around the tube and screwed into the wood...
So youre just buying a frame that you need to reinforce and buy new material to cover? Wouldn't you be better off getting/building a higher frame so you can actually grow stuff that likes pollytunnels (tomatoes/cucumbers)
Probably a great green house but everyone knows you don't leave these up all year round and in frost it needs a heater and it picking up off the floor when wind comes you just need to put it to the floor better 🤣
Why keep calling it a Green House? It's a polytunnel, not a green house, there's a hell of a difference between a greenhouse and a polytunnel and what you have there is a POLYTUNNEL!
They are advertised as green houses not poly tunnels. We have one that was blown to pieces in terrific winds before I had a chance to fix it. Now with gorilla tape, star pickets, army chord it is secure. But will try to get some Ag plastic to do the top.
I’ve got one of these . This is a real greenhouse. My neighbour has got a similar version but his one has got clear glass instead of green polythene like the one in this video. My neighbour calls his a greenhouse, but I think I upset him when I asked him how much his expensive ‘Clearhouse’ cost compared to my cheap poly ‘greenhouse’
Didnt expect to see Heston Blumenthal
😝😝🤣😂
Marcus I am flabargasted that this video is 2 years old I had no idea this channel existed for that long . Shame I would be subbed long ago
Yeah I started it a while ago but AllShorts took all my time xxx

I was going to buy one of the cheap ones , but not now, lol
The frame is okay but the cover is poor

Heston Michael / George Blumenthal

The first time I've heard of a polytunnel put away for the winter 🥺
The cheap ones are good for a year or two but nit much more
It is rubbish 🥺
Some get 5 years but you could buy 3 of these a year and still, be cheaper than a $10k one.
All I was, "what is he going to use the angle grinder for" ... Protective glasses.. What do I know, it's probably "in fashion" .....
They're corrective safety specs xx
Is this allshorts alter ego😜
Isn't he in France these days??? All shorts is always good for some acerbic comments on Bre***!
