    The thing I appreciate most about your video is how you explain your reasoning, challenges, and approach along the way rather than just the end result. Thank you!

    The quality of string sounds you're getting out of this with your setup is fantastic, thank you for sharing. I've been looking at getting a Linnstrument but had some of the same reservations as you with the standard setup. Adding a Roli seems so intuitive now that I've seen you do it.

    you're getting more control and expression out of a VST violin instrument than I've ever seen anyone do. This is incredible!

    Been looking at getting the linnstrument. I'm just a hobbyist and do not have a music background, but you did an amazing job explaining your thought process behind this. I see that you have not posted for quite awhile. I subscribed because RUclips needs more content creators like you. Would love to hear how things are currently going with the linnstrument/blocks setup.

    This video is one of the driving factors that convinced me to grab a LinnStrument. I'm curious if the Y-Axis has improved with the newer surface and sensors? I'll get a Roli lightpad if needed though.

    Thanks so much for this ingenious idea. Quick question, if you don't mind. Do you need to have the bottom row on the Linnstrument set to XYZ in order for the Roli Block to work?

    I want to buy a Linnstrument soon... I wonder whether you can use some kind of expression pedal to control bow pressure and another to control bow position... Would be possible? Thanks!!

    • @sarmad5

    Have you mapped the pressure per note of the Linnstrument to something else or is it left unused?

    • @sarmad5
      @sarmad5  2 года назад

      I’ve disable pressure per note, and enabled only one controller to pressure (ROLI block z axis). It allows me to play legato lines.

      The idea of using compass is to tell which notes are where at a glance. I’m sharing what helped me memorise the notes easily. Please ignore it if you find it confusing.
