@@xPancake_Mix maybe even using more than one could help, like every 6 stitches or every 4 stitches depending on how many you do into the magic ring ❤️
@@emma_is_bored I'm still pretty new to crocheting so i think I am somehow accidentally increasing or skipping stitches, everything I make ends up a bit wonky and I don't really know why because even when I count stitches I have the same count as the tutorials say but my hook is in a completely different spot
my little dinosaur turned out all lopsided and chonky but it makes him so much better and cute:) this was my first not incredibly simple animal project and it was so much easier and funner than i thought 🥰
Incredible pattern and video. I so appreciate the rounds being printed on the screen and left there thru the round. I often watch with no sound and that is really helpful. But truly great pattern! Cannot wait til morning when my granddaughter sees her Dino sitting by her breakfast! ❤ thanks for sharing!
the pattern is amazing!! i sometimes lost count on the stitches and it ended up a bit lopsided, but that’s what makes it special. this was my first crochet project, and i think it turned out pretty good!!
Thank you for tutorial! I need to write the pattern on paper because I need to check it every two minutes 😅 It was my second crochet animal and came out great! My dino is little bit chubby and have longer neck. I add somehow R6 two times and one extra round with decrease. Then I tried to add another 3rounds to R14-16 and its great! I will totally make another one! Thank you!❤
I saw this and I was dying to make it! I'm making it for my neighbor's little kid whose birthday is coming up! He's apart of a little group called the "Dinosaur Boys"! I am going to spoil him with a ton of crochet dinos!
The best dinosaur pattern ever! I made two of these as gifts so far and they were both so cute! I use cotton yarn to make it smaller, so i had to make adjustments to the neck size by make 7sc instead of 6, then doing 4sc at the other side.
Love this pattern! I just finished my third one. Starting a fourth. They are all going to be presents. I am super excited that you did a pattern for a giraffe. I have a four year old with her heart set on a pink one. Any chance you will ever do a dog pattern? Is there one I missed?
I'm still pretty new at crocheting. I thought this was fun and easy to follow. My Dino ended up with a beer gut and a wonky neck but otherwise cute lol. I like how you incorporated the limbs into the patterns (aside from the tail) instead of trying to sew them on all separately. I found it was so much easier to do and made more sense
Love this pattern - thank you! The first one I made was wonky af, but the second one turned out perfect (used more consistent tension and moved some stitches around to make it more even depending on where I was due to the tension). I found changing where you cross over on round 12 had a large impact on the neck being off centre, if that helps anybody in the future!
Great tutorial, thank you so much 🤗 This was my first attempt at a more complex model (I'd only done simple things like hearts and octopuses haha) but it didn't take me too long to finish it and my dino looks so cute 🥰
Instead of splitting the body to make the neck, I just kept the half that I wanted as the neck sc, then the second half, I decreased. Eventually just got to a circle the size I wanted for the neck. I try not to see if I don't have to.
Mine is nit done yet but it is so cute I am 11 years old have been crocheting for around 1 year and have never been able to make a teddy and now I’m on the neck of this one thank you so much
I have a question, for r12, why does my small hole to start working on the head go all the way to the left of my body instead of in the middle? Hers looks so good please someone help!
Does anyone have tips for the neck/head being off center? I’m following the pattern to a T but still end up with the neck more over the left front leg instead of down the middle
Are either of you doing this pattern left handed? I noticed that since I’m doing this pattern left handed, when I start those 6sc on R12, I don’t go across the front on the body, while hers does in the video. Since I don’t go across the front, this results in the neck hole being on top of the left leg. I even imagined doing those 6sc the other way (as actually shown in the video), and yeah going across would make the neck form perfectly in the center :(
I’m kinda new to crocheting, so idk if this problem is fixable (like somehow making the stitches go the other way around the rows once the legs and body are connected) whilst still being able to crochet left handed, or if this move/pattern is just not possible for left handed ppl. If anyone has an answer or knows a way to help, then please do reply. I, and I’m sure many others, would really appreciate it ❤️
Hello, I'm new too on crocheting but, I followed my instincts and I did it counting that I started sc just in the middle of the front, sc six and cross counting 5 instead of 4, it turned out centered
I did the same thing. Not 100% sure what I did to make it more to the left but I think I miss counted some stitches in the body. Will be trying again and hopefully will have it centered.
I’ve made 4 of these and on the 4th one I’ve made it practically perfect. Practice makes perfect they say! A lot of it has to do with tension and making sure you’re counting stitches correctly and not accidentally doing a double crochet or something. I’ve caught myself doing that on the first one I did. But my other 3 that weren’t centered I was able to stuff it a certain way and kind of manipulate the way it sits with the stuffing to make it look straight!
I made one that i did not count my stitches it was cute but wonky I’m making another that I do count my stiches I’m on the head but it looks way better
Hey I'm messaging from my dad's account I keep getting confused what does 4× or any number you put with a × mean like I had to redo thr neck1000 times😢
Whenever there is a number with an “x” behind it that’s how many times you will repeat it. So if it says (sc,inc) 4x, you will do sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc, sc, inc. hope this helps!
At round seventeen I ended with 15 but round eighteen there aren’t 20 idk what’s going on I’ll redo the round and come back. Edit: I’m back idk what I did wrong last time but it’s ok now idk what was going on but it’s ok nowww😊
Its cute but we can see you hiding the right part of the dinosaur cus the whole neck and head is on the left side. I would like more honesty and to see all angles before crocheting. This was jjst a waste of yarn.
Tail
R1 -4 sc in mr (4)
R2- (Sc, inc) x2 (6)
R3-(2sc, inc) x2 (8)
R4-4sc inc 3sc (9)
R5-4sc inc 4sc (10)
Leave tail for sewing
Tysm!!!! ❤
Thank u so much🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤
So cute, I kept losing count on my stitches. He ended up a little wonky but cute. Just need to make a tail
You should use a stitch marker! Even a Bobby-pin works great too
@@emma_is_bored I did :(

Wow I’m so glad you enjoyed it! I hope your granddaughter loves her dino, my grandma used to crochet also :)
had so much fun making my own little dinosaur! tutorial was super clear and easy to follow, thank you!!!

this was my first amigurumi attempt and your tutorial really helped me! Thank you, the dino turned out really good 🦕
Made this for my classmate (were in 6th grade) and she absolutely loved it! I got confused for a bit but turned out perfect!!❤

Hi, do you know how many grams of yarn I need? Would be very happy for an answer 🫶🏻

I like how you incorporated the limbs into the patterns (aside from the tail) instead of trying to sew them on all separately. I found it was so much easier to do and made more sense
Helloo, do you know how many grams of yarn you used? Bc I just have left 65g of my blue colored yarn and I dont know if that is enough for this dino
The beer gut- same😭😂😂
Add stuffing
R12:6sc, 4sc on other side(10)
R13:2inc 8sc(12)
14-16:sc for 3 rounds (12)
R17:2sc, 3inc, 7sc (15)
R18:(sc, inc)x3, 5sc (20)
R19:8sc, 4inc, 8sc (24)
R20-21: sc for 2 rounds (24)
Add eyes between 20-21
R22:(2sc, dec)x6 (18)
R23: (sc, dec)x6 (12)
R24: 6dec (6)
Mine Dino body is a bit thick😂 he looks like a bodybuilder lol also I think I put his eyes to far back
I have the same problem!!
Me too
I finished in a total of like 4 hours!! it was my first amigurumi and you made it so easy thanks you sm 🫶
I definitely need more practice but even on my first try it turned out really cute! Brilliant pattern
Thanks so much for the video! 😁 My Dino turned out SOOO cute!

Thank you so much for doing this! I actually made a lil Dino and I'm so happy 😊
I have made 4 of these dino's and i certainly have not wasted yarn they turn out so cute also used differnt hook sizes aswell.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It was so helpful, I’ve already made two!

This was so fun to make and you instructions were easy to follow. Thank you!
I LOVE this pattern ! So cute !!! Mine came out perfect.
Why is mines head backwards?
My first guess is that the increases ended up being towards the back and not the front! this hypothesis is based on similar personal experience 😂
Mine too
Tysm! I love this tut but since i used a thicker yarn and needle… OMG I HAVE A JUMBO DINO 😍😍😍😍
Instead of splitting the body to make the neck, I just kept the half that I wanted as the neck sc, then the second half, I decreased. Eventually just got to a circle the size I wanted for the neck. I try not to see if I don't have to.
Thank you so much. Mine turned out perfect. I wish I could show yet we can’t, but thank you again.
These Tutorials Are the best
Nice pattern, turned out pretty cute, just choose the wrong yarn....it was a bulky yarn that split and made stitching more difficult.
Mine is nit done yet but it is so cute I am 11 years old have been crocheting for around 1 year and have never been able to make a teddy and now I’m on the neck of this one thank you so much
Omg this was my first ever amigurumi!! I'm obsessed on making it now!! Im making the third one!!!
Mines neck is a little off center but other then that he’s really cute! This tutorial really helped!
It was soo easy❤ Tanks 😊
I have a question, for r12, why does my small hole to start working on the head go all the way to the left of my body instead of in the middle? Hers looks so good please someone help!
Mine aint even look like a dinosaur.. idek where I went wrong
I noticed the 🦕 head was backwards so on R19 I did 4 inc and 16sc instead of the 8sc 4inc 8sc.
A expectativa e a realidade são tão diferentes que custa a acreditar que eu realmente assiste a esse tutorial.😭😭😭🤡
Can I make the neck longer? Just adding a couple more rounds?
Totally could have been my mistake but row 19 was a little wonky for me and I had to move some stitches around
I DID IT!!!!!!!! 🦕🦕🦕🦕
