You can also adjust mumble volume while ingame by using NUMPAD + or -
Very handy if your squadmates transmit volume is very low.
Note that most laptops don't have those keys.

Project reality indeed is a masterpiece, coming from a player who just only played for 2 month here!
Not sure how it works in PR, but the chopper tipping issue on ground irl and most other games is resolved byt HOLDING DOWN on the collective/throttle. It basically sucks you into the ground straight down. That's also how you can land on sides of hills.
If you don't do this, you are still hovering slightly and get side to side movement, then when a wheel or skid contacts the ground, you quickly pivot on that point and end up crashing.
Finally got back into PR. My god the helicopter control is so bad. Doesn't help that BF2/PR key rebinding is ass and lies telling you there are conflicts all the time when there aren't. I did try going collective down though and it tilts the chopper back, smacking the tail in the ground. Haven't tried on hills or anything, but I don't think it will help landing at all.
Also, I saw you ingame today. Squad 2 leader. R Infantry on Barracude, Chinese.
+CallsignWulf oh yeah i took over the squad at the beginning of the round, the entire match was horrible no spawn bad team communication got rekt by their cas, but our squad still managed to get the top squad position. And i agree that the control of the heli is not 100% solid, but hey there is nothing we can do about it then accept it.

Don't worry, you're not alone. Me and my childhood friend (the same mentioned in the other comment) have the same "issue". We played some default-inverted games (plane games); then we noticed the "invert" option in other games too. Soo, we simply thought "what if we play inverted from now on? like, every damn mouse game?" we were like 10-14 years old. And here we are, about 36, still playing everything with inverted mouse, still getting all the hate from friends.

BH is harder to fly than the cow. I fly with a joystick and that pretty much eliminates the problems with Mi-8/17 but the Blackhawk tries to murder you everytime you turn, because it's unstable in roll.

The Chinook may be more stable, but it takes more skill to land it properly because of it's big size. Swinging a 25.000 Ibs Chinook down safely can be problematic xD

Whenever i fly a big heli i always crash it but not the small one
My arma days haven't failed me yet. I can recover from getting my tail rotor shot out after hours of practice lol.
You should also know when to just hover above the ground, because of the terrain.

What if i say i never used chopper with my mouse? I always use it with WASD and arrow keys. (btw im really good at it xD)

i remember me and my best friend playing the first Descent game, with no mouse at all.
First thoughts: So many keys, how tf are we supposed to play this if we re not piano singers?
Some weeks later we were moving like water through those levels, by using all 12 movement keys (QWER/ASDF + IJKL) all clumsiness gone for good.

Hey man when i get the Pilot kit and enter the heli i alway get a blackscreen and the i get killed but why?
The most harder helicopters to fly its Osprey and Blackhawk in my opinion.

bro i can not understand map numbers :sob: . Last time i was flying, a SL told me to land on "Foxtrot 7", and i felt idiot, and i kept flying around the map to can know what he means, but he was just yelling and we got locked by a missile and we died.

It's actually very Easy.
In PR a lot of players use the NATO phonetic alphabet while reading the Map. What it means is that instead of "A, B, C, D" they say "Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta" so basically the fist letter of the NATO alphabet corresponds to the normal alphabet.
If you look at the map, on the left vertical edge of the map you can find all the numbers, and on the top horizontal edge you will find the letters.
And the rule is, you read the letters first then the number.
So If he says "Foxtrot 7" it means on the Map grid "F 7"

When i fly some helicopters (specifically the chinese WZ-10) and some others, mid flight it keeps pitching the nose up and up and it is extremely difficult to pitch it down and i eventually crash. is there a reason for this like damaged part or?
@@crinoxum6549 I never had any issues like it, maybe you were flying too high? If you fly to the height border it locks your vehicle and it becomes very hard to control.

how do you put another crate on a helicopter
You spawn with 1 or 2 (depending on the type of helicopter) and after you drop your create you can rearm it at the helipad you took off from.

You need to grab a pilot kit. To do that go to the helicopter and hold "T" and request a pilot kit. After that press "G" to pick it up.
