And then be able to call the race in real time. Then, as soon as the race is over, he's got to forget this group of horses and do the same thing with another group of horses, jockeys and silks. And do that for anywhere between 8 and 12 races a day (depending on the track).
As somebody who likes to watch TVG 2 (Now FanDuel Racing) while working around the house, I will miss Tom Durkin....definitely one of the best ever. Btw, in the second race on the video, I appreciate the Mel Brooks reference, too (It's Good to Be King...a running gag from History of the World, Pt. 1)
