Sometines she’s at her most comfortable when ad-libbing and not overly rehearsed so it takes her out of her head. This performance came out so soulful and with raw emotion as a result. Absolutely gorgeous.

I love unrehearsed Mariah, she’s out of her head and just enjoying herself here! It just goes to show even when she was “post prime” she still had an amazing voice and honestly still does. She just needs to be relaxed and focus on feeling the music rather than hitting the notes perfectly
Honestly had it not been for her nodules, she would’ve been better in butterfly era. Her sense of pitch, accuracy and agility is way better in this era than the previous ones. It’s just a shame that her nodules caused so many problems vocally for her.
The butterfly tone and raspy voice fit so well!!! It's just so heartfelt and piercing because in some parts of the song it feels as if her voice is LITERALLY *vanishing* Not to mention all the other things Vanishing during this time of her life...
i can't imagine a 'vanishing' on the Daydream Tour. it would have sounded too childish or soft, and i feel it would lose the dark tone that the song needs
"Vanishing" on the Music Box Tour (the only date where she sang Dreamlover remix, if I understand correctly) in my opinion, sounds like how a Daydream tour version of Vanishing would be

Não exatamente, só estava amadurecendo, é normal uma voz em estágio de amadurecimento apresentar algumas inconsistências. Diferente de 95/96, a voz não está nasal, mas o auge da voz dela se deu em 2002/2003, quando estava totalmente amadurecida.

Its so amazing to hear her speak in 1998 tone and when she belted out it sounded like her voice just travel back to 1990.
