I agree to be honest. It's kinda like signature guitars - they're cool, but very small chance of actually buying one. That said, the archetype stuff is pretty great. I'll stick with the Kemper though ;)

@@NONE2NONE Not all the time. Abasi came out and revealed his plugin isn't really based on anything. It was made with his specific sound in mind which makes sense considering his main amp (a Morgan) is really for cleans and he uses a Friedman BE OD to drive it, and before that, he was an AXE-FX user. Tim's plugin is most definitely based on his AXE-FX presets. Plini's plugin is also a weird one because his amps are a combination of things: amp 1 is Fender + Dumble hyrbid, amp 3 is a Friedman HBE + 5150 hyrbid, and amp 2 is just a straight up Friedman BE100. With Cory Wong, his plugin is also an amalgamation of things: Amp 1 is supposedly based on an SSL Channel Strip, Amp 2 is a weird hybrid of a bunch of different clean amps from Fender to Vox to...who knows what, and Amp 3 is most definitely straight up a Dumble. So it's a little bit weird with the Archetypes.

They are good, but do not compare for someone that wants a the sound of a clean or edge of break up fender tone. The cleans on the others only (to my ears) sound or feel good when they’re lavished with long reverbs or delays. Otherwise to me they sound quite bland and feel quite far removed from a tube amp. I'm just curious about simple things like what your hardware is, both in & out, whether you monitor with super-low-latency and deal with the glitchy live sound that can cause, and apply maybe the same preset in post on the DI? Stuff like that I'd be keen to hear about. Cheers & beers!

Neural DSP, would you please release an Archetype: Bea? This guy truly deserves it.

Great demo. What kind of pedal do you use to control the Wah?

I just literally bought this amp a few weeks ago. The amount of video reviews is actually low. Now there are close to double 😏. The sound is definitely comparable.

OK, I have an Imperial MKII and many Neural DSP plugins, which I like a lot. I've tried this plugin and it is a total failure imho. It is not even close to the sound of the original to my ears. I found the sound to be thin, weak and dull. Please give it a try before you buy it.

I use both bias fx, neural and also have the Stevie T plugin. I must say amp sims have come a long way and are taking over real amps in terms of sound and practicality. All you need is a laptop, audio interface and pa system/speaker and you can gig! No need for heavy bulky amps anymore 🤘🤘🤘

The intro song reminds me of the Spyro the Dragon soundtrack so much :D
