Powerful teaching indeed . Thanks very much Women of God ! I was married to Nabal . I divorced 2019 . God was with me for 30yrs in that difficult marriage until He said my child enough is enough due to Nabal's cheating . I AM FREE NOW , ENJOYING MY CHRISTIAN WALK WITH JESUS .

I enjoyed this study and I did receive some unexpected things from it that I appreciate, for this I am thankful. I do however want to point out that at times a woman does need to be delivered from a "Nabal" type husband. I stayed in such a relationship for far too long when I shouldn't have and it has left me pretty wounded. I'm slowly healing and recovering in the Lord, Praise the Father! I think it's important to note that God brings deliverance from Nabal in this story and He can and will do this at times in our lives. Restoration of the relationship is not always possible or healthy.
These stories point us foward to the grace of God, Abigail is a symbol of God's true commandment keeping church. We must like gomer divorce our current husband ( satan) and be clothed with the RIGHTEOUSNESS of JESUS CHRIST we need His RIGHTEOUS life applied to our lives by faith.

My name is Abagail, and my parents did not name me after Abigail in the Bible, they tell me that they liked the name, but I know & feel that God worked through them to name me such. I am a Born Again Christian (the first and only Christian in my family... that I know of...), I am a Daughter of the King, and God RESCUED me in December 2021 from 10 years of narcissistic (emotional, spiritual, physical) abuse in "romantic" relationships AND a marriage AND those men's families! I was married to a "Nabal"! And, dated several "Nabals"! And, they ALL "died," left me, discarded me. Man's rejection is GOD's protection! Jesus turned me from a "victim" to a "victor," and if He did it for me... He can do it for YOU. Oh, sweet, sweet SURRENDER. I am experiencing FREEDOM (emotional, spiritual, physical, mental) for the first time in my life. What a season of PRUNING it has been. I pray that my journey may be a testament that God makes ALL things new... I am a NEW creation in Christ... Praise God! CHRIST IS ALWAYS SUFFICIENT. The Gospel changes EVERYTHING.

Abigail disappeared no more was said about her , I look forward to meeting her in the EARTH made new after the 1st resurrection, also all of you by God's grace.
The part read about the jewel's and clothing so applies to us greatly today we must keep all the law of God as it is the mirror that shows us when we are in a bad path. Adornment of ones self is not a good thing.

Some churches and Pastors are very much a hindrance or dangerous to go before and be honest with what is in your home. Ask God for discernment and take a godly older woman with you, not a friend, a virus Ch 2 older woman. And prayer is the essence of the family movement, it is the backbone, yet sometimes, God knows that even though the prayers of the righteous are for redemption and grace overflows with mercy of reconciliation, it is not safe. . ....and that is in the story of Nabal as God takes Nabal home. And that is heart breaking to the woman who has to endure that answer of no.....

Does anyone else feel like the ending where David goes and gets Abigail as his wife that it may point to a rapture of the church? The tale of 10 virgins where 5 are allowed into the wedding feast. Abigail goes with 5 attendants. Hmmm. Praying for our bridegroom to come. Praying that I have a humble heart.
What about any children that she had with Nabel?
