Hope you guys enjoyed this “story time” type of video:) It's my first attempt at trying to do some animations so let me know what you guys think! You can skip straight to 2:40 if you want to get straight into the interview!
This is the thing I suck at the most. It doesn't matter how knowledgeable, enthusiastic, or kind you are if you can't deliver under the pressure of an interview or presentation. It doesn't matter how bad you want to be a doctor if you can't recall information and deliver in an interview. And the argument that "as a doctor you'll have to work in high-pressure environments too" doesn't work because interviews and tense shifts/cases are two different types of pressure.
Hahah - this video was really well put together. A lot of effort must have gone into the animations. I have been discovering so many new Cambridge RUclipsrs lately! Well done
Haha hopefully that girl that went after you will have been able to draw on her folder of knowledge for head bruising. I have an interview in less than a week and this really helped, thank you 😂
I had no idea that you were questioned on scientific knowledge in the interviews.. I thought you were questioned about your character and interest in medicine and things like that
Hi so, most medical interviews are like you’ve described (plus your understanding of medical ethics). Cambridge and Oxford interviews (along with anywhere else that do traditional interviews) are special bc they ask scientific questions
Thanks for your insight. I decided to continue further education with Cambridge with Genetics, Infectious Disease and Immunology. So I found this interesting I do hope you achieve your goals! x
Lmao. I just screwed up my Cam interview for HSPS yesterday and I'm laughing so hard to this....I relate to this sooo much! ! So encouraging to see that "you might think you screwed it, but it will turn out fine!" .Thanks for the vid again!
Honestly you can’t predict the outcome of these interviews even if you think you screwed up - most of those that give bad interview experiences are those that acc received offers, but well done for acc getting an interview offer, firstly, and secondly for getting through it!!
Huge congrats on getting the interview! It’s very hard to gauge how well an interview went so I really wouldn’t stress. Also, just remember that, no matter what the outcome, you’ve done amazingly to get this far and that a 30 minute interview does not define you! Fingers crossed for you:))
Kudos to u for making a video about it, it takes lotta strength to acknowledge it and whateva. My point is that I was absolutely depressed after my interview went bad and since it was one of my first biggest failures I couldn't get over it easily and just forgetting about it is so difficult. So, good 4 u for seeing a bad interview as an opportunity to make a video, idk this channel so that's my impression.
Good video bro. Please make a video of how you applied for cambridge and why. Im applying and have no clue on where to go, im not too sure if im supposed to apply the colleges or the Uni itself. Thanks
Thank you! Not sure if I’ll make a video on this but in the meantime you can check out the Cambridge uni youtube (think they have a video about this). Or you can message me on insta (@u.sunuwar) or twitter (@whosuj) where I’d be happy to answer any questions!:)
Fahad Rahman Vlogs hey man, I’ve got a notification on insta saying you have messaged me but it’s not letting me see the message or reply so maybe try unfollowing and then following and then resending the message? Sorry about that
@@_whoisuj Oh yes. I asked you a question but i figured it out already so i unsent the text. Thanks for looking out for me bro. Ill text you again when i need help again. Thanks man
Drug concentration increases in the body as the drug is up taken and diffuses throughout the body. The gradient gets flatter as diffusion gradient decreases (this is one of the factors of diffusion rates). The concentration plateaus as all of the drug is distributed evenly(-ish) throughout the body. There’s a second part of the graph that shows excretion of drug aswell but following same principles. Hope this helps!:)
Lots of reasons really but essentially, I loved the sciences but couldn’t see myself going into research. Plus through work experience, I found out that I really like patient interactions and being able to directly help people

The real test is how you react under pressure.
This is the thing I suck at the most. It doesn't matter how knowledgeable, enthusiastic, or kind you are if you can't deliver under the pressure of an interview or presentation. I had my NatSci interview yesterday and I still can't believe I said "see you" at the end ......................................................

I would so not have got that radioactive question did u do physics?
No physics, but you could just use the c=m/v equation from chemistry
@@_whoisuj thank you again!
can you please explain me what you said at last...like What do you mean by crist college ?? and What college were pooled to?
Christ’s college is one of the colleges at Cambridge. I interviewed at Christ but got pooled to Sidney Sussex!

I’m not too sure about colleges specific to law? But nice colleges to look into may be peterhouse, Emmanuel and Jesus?
