For sure improving as you went. Gotta watch the body block. I fought a teno as cera yesterday on norden and they handed me my hat. Good teno player seemed to be going for the body block then would tailslam or kick me. I hadn't seen it done before so took me a bit to figure out. Also seemed to jump over me and kick on the way by. IDK if that's just a desync thing or a great technique. I should have asked but logged after they started fighting others.

There's two ways to fight a teno, you either bait tail and immediately (using that short window of time) follow up with a bite or you nip the teno's tail tip till you can either face tank it or it dies. Your issue is that you play way too aggressive and sometimes that works out for you because that teno player likes to spam tail slam even when they missed allowing you to punish them with a body shot. Instead, try baiting the tail attack or kick and then biting the tail after teno misses then using the keys a,w,d(move forward and away) to quickly move out of it's attack range. Something that you may have not noticed is that whenever a dino is hit there a brief second where the hurt dino cant attack back, look for it and learn to exploit it. Granted it's been a while since I've played evrima but this is how I used to kill tenos and I myself was a very decent teno player(once killed 5 carnos in one fight).

You can see in the later fights I do attempt to do what you're saying. I am not comfortable with editing videos longer than 16 minutes like Void is, so I kept it to 5 fights, if I did more fights, I would've been more successful at what you're saying ^^ Thanks for the advice of course though, hopefully others find it useful. I do believe Evrima has changed a lot since you last played since I'm more than certain there isn't/or no longer is a second where the hurt dino can't attack back! You should totally watch our other fight videos though; I do a lot better as Dilo! - Null

Teno takes a lot of skill to get right, tail slam is real difficult to aim, but boy a skilled teno is as broken as they say

when youre using the charged bite, make sure u end it with LMB and not by releasing RMB

They really did hurt xd, getting tail slammed + kicked to the head (which you kicked me in the body, tail mostly I believe?) puts you out of the fight according to Void.
