    Fabulous, I was absolutely enthralled! Lovely to see footage of the Gloucestershire match...I've lived in Newton-le-Willows for most of my life, great to see a N-le-W boy - David Hughes - become a Lancashire legend!

    As someone who was born in Lancashire, this is an interesting and fascinating video. So many great players have played for the Red Rose, a few of them will go down as the greatest players of the game we’ve ever seen.

    I worked in the committee bar for a year in the early 2000's for a bit over a year. At the time I didn't quite appreciate how much of an honour it was to serve Clive Lloyd and especially the don of Lancashire himself Jack Simmons. He is the cricketer's cricketer.

      I mean the other sports that are replacing cricket's popularity are British too (Rugby, Boxing, Football).
