Claire Vo built ChatPRD-an on-demand chief product officer powered by AI. It’s now used by over 10,000 product managers and is pulling in six figures in revenue.
    The best part?
Claire has a demanding day job as the CPO at LaunchDarkly. So she built all of ChatPRD herself-over the weekend-with AI.
I sat down with Claire to talk about how ChatPRD works, how she built it as a side hustle using AI, and all of the ways she’s using AI tools to accelerate her work and life.
    We get into:
    - How she used AI to build ChatPRD over Thanksgiving break
    - The part of product management that Claire thinks AI will disrupt
    - Why the PMs of tomorrow will be “proto-managers” who create prototypes rather than just specs
    - How junior PMs can use AI to upskill faster
    - The ways in which ChatPRD is baked into her own workflow
    - How building ChatPRD is making Claire a better PM
    - How Claire uses AI as a tech-forward parent
This is a must-watch for anyone interested in turning their side hustle into a thriving business or who works in product.

Great episode, and I'm now #TeamClaire - fun, smart, and practical. Loved the examples given, especially regarding the kiddos. I've used AI with the kids, but she sparked some new ideas - thanks to both of you for the time and insights!

All of your videos have been awesome, but I have to say this one IMO is by far the best! Loved her real world examples and her down to earth style, particularly the last section on how she uses ai with her kids. Keep these coming!!

Very interesting video, although I think it shows that many people don't know how to use and customize ChatGPT or Claude for their particular needs and opt for wrappers. I'm not saying that's wrong, but it's an interesting niche. I would have liked her to be more transparent about how she created the platform; this isn't something that can be achieved just by asking ChatGPT, you need someone with programming knowledge to do it... but PMs aren't good at admitting that they don't code.

yeah like all the wrapper apps around mobile platforms, cloud infrastructure and databases.

Seeing the creativity in AI wrappers and custom agent prompts is inspiring. IMO, it reflects individual learning and adds value to others. Not sure why some have such a visceral reaction when they see someone learning, creating, and even monetizing these apps.
