I'm curious if the relic that makes Spinfection increase rather than diminish makes poison builds interesting again, 'cause they were in a rough spot for a bit & it's been a while since Tom's gone for one of those builds.
On Roundrel (The character that adds random debuffs) it's pretty legit if you just have AoE of any kind. In general it makes it very viable to spec pretty hard into Spinfection, imo.
very much especially if you get the Cauldron Bubball for aoe and Douball Douball for bosses.
@@Whales_ Oooo, interesting! I wonder how the Weighted Chip relic would interact with a multi-balled/Summoning Circle of Douball Douball dropping into the 2x slot. Does it do the insane recursive damage multiplication on Spinfection stacks the way it does for raw damage like Tom's ended up with before?
Spinfection is good but you have to have enough either healing or ballusion to keep from getting plinked down with ranged damage while the stacks build up.
@@PierceArner Sadly it does not, I was pretty sure, but I went into custom mode and gave it a red hot go. Although you are throwing multiple balls onto the board, you are only attacking/firing 1 orb, so only raw dmg stacks.
What we really want, is something that would make it go up by more than 1 factor of Spinfection per turn. As it is now, it's mostly for clearing anything ranged you can't hit, and shield nerds in Castle. The Wall is still a hard counter, and Mushrooms and Pals in Caves are just so high in dmg and health.
Tom forgetting that Lightning only strikes the whole column if it crits...

3 times speed takes out a lot of the satisfaction. I would appreciate the 2 times speed like you used before a lot more

You should consider getting at the bombs earlier. Particularly in the slime mini boss you are often triggering the last two bombs when only the big slime is left. It may be better to risk triggering them before the big one spawns than it is to trigger them when he's all that is left. Just my two cents!

Accidentely did this a few days ago, the endless devouring + defresh potion got me a glorious -40000 shot on the dragon boss but still (somehow) won with collatorball damage

Secret relics can be found in ? Room with the 4/5 bombs in middle, if you pop them all before going on to the next room you get a extra relic. I've done it 3 times so far, best with the 🕯️ for 1 hit bomb pops.

It is fast, the reason is that these crucible videos have been members only and they are uncut and shows him restarting so he speeds them up.
