All the scriptures have declared that Vaiṣṇavas are superior to those who are intoxicated by their good lineage and respectable caste, or by their distinguished work or vast wealth, even if they are of the highest birth. The living entity’s eternal goal is to awaken kṛṣṇa-prema .

Sri Chaitanya Mahāprabhu had said Prthivite ache yata nagaradi-grama, sarvatra pracara haibe mora nama: (CB Antya-khanda 4.126) "In every town and village throughout the world," said Lord Caitanya, - the chanting of My holy name will be heard So to fulfill His desire Śrila Prabhupad's guru Śrila Bhakti Siddhant Sarasvati Thakur had ordered him to preach in the west as he was a learned person and could speak and converse in English very well. Therefore, to execute the orders of his Guru, in 1965, at the age of sixty-nine, Srila Prabhupada traveled to New York City aboard a cargo ship. There after a lot of hard work and labor, just depending on the power of Holy Name and the potency of the spiritual master, he successfully established ISKCON on 13th July 1966 in New York and after that he opened up more than 100 temples all around the world travelling incessantly and cultivating Krishna consciousness everywhere. As the movement started in America, and then spread to Europe etc.,so there were many white disciples of Śrila Prabhupad in the early days who were real seekers. That is the reason you find many top echelons in Iskcon white, no hidden agenda is there . There is a book also with the name 'Dancing white elephants' in which you will meet incredible white devotees, who became pillars of this movement and sacrificed their lives for the noblest of the cause - to revive their dormant Krishna consciousness.
