I know I’m pretty heckin’ late but I just wanted to say that this is by FAR the cleverest, catchiest lyrical version of Megalovania I have ever seen. Most covers turn to edginess and heavy metal rock to keep their versions interesting, but the upbeat, jazzy vibe of this contrasts beautifully with the bleak and yet *insanely* interesting lyrics. You did an amazing job.
It actually fits with Sans personality it's not edgy it's light-hearted but it still has a deep message to it and it's trying its hardest to make sure you understand it and then hopefully you'll listen to what he's trying to say

Wow, this is the first time I hear a cover of the song changed in a light way! It was either hard metal or super sad every other time, but this is the perfect combination of a perfectly normal fight and the fact that it can be so unusual at the same time!
I love how i starts out all triumphant and cocky, as if it resembled the first few times Frisk respawned after sans put them down. But the more it goes on the sadder it gets as sans starts losing hope as Frisk keeps coming back. Stay strong sans. Stay DETERMINED.

One of the reasons why I love those lyrics so much is because they can also fit for Chara, Frisk, and even the Player. "You can't hit me even if I hit back" - Frisk and/or Chara (depending on your interpretation) is the one being hit; the Player can't be hurt by Sans (physically at least), while they can hit him. They are so invulnerable that even when Chara screws you over at the end of Genocide, you can just mess with the files and erase those effects. Meanwhile, Sans can dodge your attacks while draining your health. "This is gonna be a good show" - Frankly, what player did the Genocide Run for any reason other than wanting to fight Sans? Sans (or at least, this version of him) himself even sees the Bad Time as something that will be fun. "Nobody remembers, nobody but me" - Frisk, Chara and the Player all remember even post-reset. Hell, it's implied Frisk doesn't remember anything post-true reset, while Chara and the Player do; Hell, the Player can even wipe Chara's memory by messing with the files and getting a True Pacifist ending without Chara screwing it up at the last second, thus truly meaning it when they say only they remember. Sans also remembers the resets, but not as well as say, Flowey. "I'm the one that's counting all the bodies" - Chara is telling you how many people you have to kill. Sans is checking your LV and watching your slaughter. "Guess I have to do what you want me to" - Frisk is following the Player's actions throughout the entire game; Unlike Kris from Deltarune, they have zero control over what's happening to them and can't break free. Sans has to fight because, well, the Player did the Genocide Run for the sole reason of fighting him. "Don't know how much more of this I can take" - Sans is growing tired of fighting the Player, the Player is getting more and more frustrated each time they fight Sans, in some cases even rage-quitting and resetting. "Don't have any more cheesy one-liners to say" - Sans is known for his various comedic lines, which he all but outright lacks during his fight. If we go by the Narrator!Chara theory, Chara can also deliver some snark, unless you go on a Genocide Run where they are focused on becoming powerful. The Player, especially the Let's Player kind, will stop talking and commenting during the fight to focus on dodging the attacks and surviving. "Dodging gets tiring when I keep firing, and nothing seems to stop you" - Sans is losing his determination to fight because the Player keeps surviving his attacks. The Player is losing their determination to fight because the fight goes on and on, and they keep dying. "We're too stubborn and we'll stick around" - Hell, Sans saying "we" is pretty much him lampshading this; Both him and the Player won't back down, and will keep fighting each other for their own reasons; Sans to save his world, the Player out of amusement and the will to complete the Genocide Run. "Even as my brother's memory fades" - Sans has a brother, Chara had a brother. "You can't fight forever" - Sans knows the Player will rage-quit out of frustration at some point, while Frisk, Chara and the Player will keep fighting because they know Sans can't dodge forever. "Get the thought of winning out of my mind" - Sans is losing hope during his battle, the Player can rage-quit out of believing they can't kill Sans.

I've legit had this song stuck in my head so many times. Death by Glamor too. I legit love all your music, ever since your song Undertale. I just love all of your Undertale lyric videos, I think the idea of adding lyrics to these otherwise instrumental songs is very creative and makes use of what there already is. tl:dr, I really love your music!!
Revisiting this video again, I think this is probably my favorite lyrical Megalovania cover. It perfectly captures the trolling attitude he has during the boss fight that I feel like not a lot of lyrical versions delve into. Hits the nihilism too, but in the same casual and matter-of-fact way that his dialogue does in the fight. Really well done!
This entire cover is incredible. Every praise i can give it has already been said, except for one. The way it drops off one line short of a final 8 count is super chilling. It took me some time for my brain to accept it, but i love how it all just stops a little too early. It mirrors the end of the sans fight perfectly, and is one of my favorite parts.

One of the reasons why I love those lyrics so much is because they can also fit for Chara, Frisk, and even the Player.
"You can't hit me even if I hit back" - Frisk and/or Chara (depending on your interpretation) is the one being hit; the Player can't be hurt by Sans (physically at least), while they can hit him. They are so invulnerable that even when Chara screws you over at the end of Genocide, you can just mess with the files and erase those effects. Meanwhile, Sans can dodge your attacks while draining your health.
"This is gonna be a good show" - Frankly, what player did the Genocide Run for any reason other than wanting to fight Sans? Sans (or at least, this version of him) himself even sees the Bad Time as something that will be fun.
"Nobody remembers, nobody but me" - Frisk, Chara and the Player all remember even post-reset. Hell, it's implied Frisk doesn't remember anything post-true reset, while Chara and the Player do; Hell, the Player can even wipe Chara's memory by messing with the files and getting a True Pacifist ending without Chara screwing it up at the last second, thus truly meaning it when they say only they remember. Sans also remembers the resets, but not as well as say, Flowey.
"I'm the one that's counting all the bodies" - Chara is telling you how many people you have to kill. Sans is checking your LV and watching your slaughter.
"Guess I have to do what you want me to" - Frisk is following the Player's actions throughout the entire game; Unlike Kris from Deltarune, they have zero control over what's happening to them and can't break free. Sans has to fight because, well, the Player did the Genocide Run for the sole reason of fighting him.
"Don't know how much more of this I can take" - Sans is growing tired of fighting the Player, the Player is getting more and more frustrated each time they fight Sans, in some cases even rage-quitting and resetting.
"Don't have any more cheesy one-liners to say" - Sans is known for his various comedic lines, which he all but outright lacks during his fight. If we go by the Narrator!Chara theory, Chara can also deliver some snark, unless you go on a Genocide Run where they are focused on becoming powerful. The Player, especially the Let's Player kind, will stop talking and commenting during the fight to focus on dodging the attacks and surviving.
"Dodging gets tiring when I keep firing, and nothing seems to stop you" - Sans is losing his determination to fight because the Player keeps surviving his attacks. The Player is losing their determination to fight because the fight goes on and on, and they keep dying.
"We're too stubborn and we'll stick around" - Hell, Sans saying "we" is pretty much him lampshading this; Both him and the Player won't back down, and will keep fighting each other for their own reasons; Sans to save his world, the Player out of amusement and the will to complete the Genocide Run.
"Even as my brother's memory fades" - Sans has a brother, Chara had a brother.
"You can't fight forever" - Sans knows the Player will rage-quit out of frustration at some point, while Frisk, Chara and the Player will keep fighting because they know Sans can't dodge forever.
"Get the thought of winning out of my mind" - Sans is losing hope during his battle, the Player can rage-quit out of believing they can't kill Sans.

Revisiting this video again, I think this is probably my favorite lyrical Megalovania cover. It perfectly captures the trolling attitude he has during the boss fight that I feel like not a lot of lyrical versions delve into. Hits the nihilism too, but in the same casual and matter-of-fact way that his dialogue does in the fight. Really well done!

The way it drops off one line short of a final 8 count is super chilling. It took me some time for my brain to accept it, but i love how it all just stops a little too early. It mirrors the end of the sans fight perfectly, and is one of my favorite parts.
