With current events I have time to tap into interest from the past. This game looks very interesting. To my understanding Roll Players Adventures is coming out this year and does not require the original release or expansion. As of now I believe purchasing both of these items are on the high side for such a simple game. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you liked the use of CHA token for buying mercenaries. That's an idea I supported in my playtesting. I agree that the expansion does a lot to complete the experience. I felt thematically the expansion adds character leveling to character creation. And I really love how in solo mode that the "enemy die" can now make you discard the active minion and draw a new one. Strategically, sometimes you're facing a minion you can't beat and the market isn't appealing (including the choice of discarding for gold), so you take the highest die rolled, hoping the enemy dice roll will give you a new minion to fight that you've got a better chance defeating.

I'm pretty sure EVERYTHING in this game is a roll of the dice.
