I just reinstalled SOT yesterday because i felt like playing it again and i havent played yet but this makes me very excited i enjoy your videos i didnt even know you left sot but you are my number one favorite yt for SOT
I'm just happy the gave order some love I would live for them to revamp sea monsters so hunters can get lv 500 too
The revamped voyage of legends (the og Athena voyage) is actually worth doing now. It's just three quests: a riddle, x marks the spot, and skeleton fight, and you are guaranteed Athena loot from every drop. Then once you've done that, you get a quest to dig up an Athena chest. You can easily smash them out in 20 minutes, and you get grade 5 after two of the quests, and basically guaranteed two chests of legends. Honestly worth doing if you wanna chill and do some Athena stuff!
And the best part is that doing the Emissary Quest in the Roar guarantees an Ashen Athena Chest
i used to do a athena fort first dive to it, to get up to grade 3 and then do one athena voyage get to grade five and get the two athena with the grade 5 quest, honestly it’s the quickest run personally

Honestly I agree so much. Played last 2 years on and off but came back couple weeks ago and I’ve been loving it. Someone asked me what I enjoyed most and honestly I just enjoy being back and playing and not feeling exhausted from boredom and what not

The kings chest is 3-3.1K the ashen kings chest is 3.7-3.8 the wrathful kings skull is 5.1-5.2k the ashen kings skull is 5.8-5.9k

I just discovered your channel but im glad youre back, your videos are very good.
Solo gold hoarder vaults are super easy clears now with 6mins in the vault solo, 5mins duo. However none of of the new loot exists in the vault and the time it takes to solo walk up all of the loot to the harpoon spots devalues them imo given the risks of players in the normal seas or volcanos in the roar. Still fun to do though!

@epicranger2225 I used the new serpent outfit and combined the plague doctor mask and burning blade cutlass and the gold leaf blunderbuss to act as the crucible and super shotgun

An easy choice for me is that recommend is Reaper. I understand you grinned that constantly day in day out but knowing the price of the new items, I do belive reaper and the pricing will be a good combo. The challenge grind or just finding them in world events are obviously easy ways to get a hold of em.
Keep up the good work Mixle, whatever you do will be fun to watch in the end.

Diving to world events for each trading company changes the loot pool for that particular event, so if you dive for a skull fort from the order of souls on quest table, you would get all skulls as loot. Its pretty handy for starting your emissary.

I thought about you during the most recent update... mostly because when you left, I hadnt played in 3 months and didn't blame you. But I loved the updates and thought it was a shame the good stuff came after so many folks had left. This whole season is a W. Active seas. Meaningful things to do that seem to adequately reward you.

The changes make it so any ships you see most likely have loot which makes for a lot more risk/reward and good fights. Also diving to world events means that if you see one on your server someone's probably there. Makes for exciting servers and less chance of "alliance servers"
Overall just more exciting across the board.
And from launch you were one of the creators that really kept me excited about this game. Glad to see you back streaming it!

I quit SoT for nearly a year and a half (I played a session here and there when friends wanted to but mostly just left it alone) and recently just picked it up. It seems like 75% of the time now the event is a Skelly fleet. At first I thought maybe it was just by chance but it kept happening, and maybe it’s so you can get the chest. So much has changed and it makes the game feel fresh

youre making me wanna play sea of thieves after a year or two of off time. The voyages were just too damn long for me and I didn't have time because of parents, high school, and other stuff I had to do. This look really good for the game.

fun fact the reason the Rib Caged Upper Body cosmetic for the skeleton curse can fit your pirate and bend when moving is because its made from the same metal as the cannons that bend so you can fit in them
