Even een vraag mijn golf 7 (2013) heeft nooit cruise control gehad is dit ook bij die van mij mogelijk of moet ik dan ook de ecu vervangen of is het zo simpel als paar draadje trekken en in de juiste pin steken en zekering erin drukken want ik weet dat je bij volkswagen vaak achteraf van de fabriek functies kunt installeren
De ecu hoeft niet vervangen te worden, je kan bij je plaatselijke dealer een set kopen en deze monteren. Daarna moet het online gecodeerd worden, dit kunnen wij doen of de dealer. Mocht je het niet zelf kunnen kan je via 06-30777775 contact met ons opnemen voor een offerte.
I am trying to install a cruise control system also on my golf 7 2014 but it's an automatic. Does it require that extra wire you used? If it does which pins did you use? Thank you
Yes, all Golf 7 models need the extra wire but which pin you need to put it in your ecu is not always the same. You have to look in the wiring diagram or call your local VW dealer. You also need a activation document, comes with the kit and activate it online via odis.

Why hide the location of the contact in the engine compartment
Ask VW, it depend on the engine you have. There are a couple of different pins possible. this engine was pin 56 on 94 pins connector.
