BluGuitar Amp1 does Slam/Beatdown

- When I first saw the BluGuitar Amp1 I was definitely intruiged.. a 100w tube amp the size and weight of a dinner plate! but all the videos I could find were all giving examples of blues/classic rock applications, nothing with metal, never mind even something as niche as Slam or Beatdown music.. So I made this video to answer the question "Is the Amp1 up to making heavy music?" the answer = YES!!
I recorded using the 'record out' on the amp straight into Cubase. no additional editing, mixing or mastering, just raw guitar tone.. the song is one of my own.. Enjoy!

Sadly not, I've played around with it quite alot since making this video. I can tell you the strings were fresh, 9-58 and my guitar had a brand new 9V battery, both factors make a big difference

I just put a slam worldwide sticker on the headstock! The neck is a 2002 ibanez wizard neck and I made the body myself

Gabriel Villalobos thanks man! everything you hear (except the drums) comes from 'modern' setting on the amp1, I didn't use any additional effects or processing

There are no pedals or any other effects used here. Everything you hear is solely from the Amp1, including the noise gate. Thanks for watching :)

it's a 2002 Ibanez RG7321 neck, I made the body myself out of maple, pickup is EMG 707

I actually did release this song in 2012 with me playing all the instruments and doing vocals! the difference is the original was played on an 8 string guitar
