Ruud has a great forehand, and he is quick. So does FAA, also quick, and he has a better serve and a little bit more variety plus he has a winning record against the Norwegian. Both play a similar game, not very dimensional. The faster surface suited FAA more.
Tbf not unexpected from Ruud, he was sick and bedridden for a week, withdrew from Montreal, withdrew from Cincy doubles with Lehecka, was not practicing all week and basically stepped on court without even having hit on the courts. Once he’s fully healthy and fit again he’ll do better, Us open will hopefully be different
just 1.56 highlights??? come on man, As if the bad camera angles weren't enough, now the time for highlights has been getting shorter and shorter, it's a shame.
Ruud is only good on Clay. FAA has beaten Ruud their last 3 or 4 meetings including clay. I was thinking FAA was finally retaining form but I think he just has Ruuds number recentlyl
What happened? Heat happened. More and more athletes who have greater heat tolerance will win in the future. Fitness plays a role, sure, but if you lived your whole life in scandinavia and then suddenly begin to travel to 40c countries to play tennis... Im sure it cant be a good idea
Why do the spectators make such strange movements when the camera is pointed at them? Is that normal for a tennis match? These people are absolutely embarrassing.
Man what happened to rudd 😢
He used to play grand slam finals so consistently

Ruud backhand is the reason
He just came back from sickness and probably isn’t back to 100%
@@TheGowshikanRudd needs to go somewhere else to train and improve.
I was in Cincy this week. Fastest courts I’ve ever seen live. Really plays to guys who hit big and flat.
That’s what Alcaraz said for centre
But Felix beat Ruud recently in the Olympics on red clay which is a slow surface
Cincy has always been like that. Incredibly fast courts, maybe the fastest on the pro tour.
Is it faster than grass?

First Medvedev, now Ruud, dang
Alcaraz too
@@TranucTV him too yeah, medvedev and Ruud are the players I was cheering for

And Alcaraz too...
Ruud has never been good on medium fast courts lol
Now that's a proper thrashing meted out by FAA to Ruud. A rude awakening call for Ruud.😂
Dude he was sick. Ffs.

Good match.
Thanks for the 4-point highlight reel Tennis TV. Very generous of you 🧐
Looks like FAA is getting some of his old form back. Good to see.
Ruud had influenza for several days before this. Obviously not up to par. Felix played well.
I've never seen Ruud care less.
On fire, keep it up!!! 🎉
FELIX IN FORM RIGHT NOW
Beautiful game. Classy 🌟
Ruud off today.
just 1.56 highlights??? come on man, As if the bad camera angles weren't enough, now the time for highlights has been getting shorter and shorter, it's a shame.
Felix has been dominating Casper Ruud for quite some time now. There’s just something about his game that troubles Ruud.
Casper was just a ghost of himself today
2 min highlights? Cmon man
Tbf it wasnt a very long match lol. Not much highlights FAA just smacked him
Biden, is that you?
What's with Felix dusting Ruud lately lol
Is Ruud alright? He didn't look like himself this match. I hope he'll be OK for the US Open
Maybe injured
Ruud was sick few days ago and i guess still tired from it

Ruud had a chance to be no.1 in 2022, if he beat Alcaraz in final of US Open...
@@gregorsamsa555I was thinking the same. Clay is his best surface, but he got to the USO final
Ruud looked unwell or maybe struggling in the heat

Ruud's carrer is so frustrating.
You have a problem with the camera angle tonight. The other one the angle is way too low and on this one it moves all the time it makes you sick.
Did you film this with a potato?
What happened with Ruud? And especially with Felix? He totally destroyed him, who would have believed it anyway?!
YT please get rid of these bots 🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂🤦♂
More efficient: report them all every time you see their comments
probably because of the fast court

Montreal is a lot colder than Oslo, though.
@@adamlischinsky1497 You might not like it but there is actually a difference between black skin and white skin.
Ruud looks finished as a top player
He was sick in bed for a week before the tournament. No practicing.
Ruud rublev and FAA ! the trinity which is making ATP into WTA level consistency
huh? why?
Ruud is honestly pretty consistent. Other than a few bad losses he consistently loses to the same people and wins against the same people.
@@kloppskalli If you watched tennis lately, you wouldn't ask "why"
