Great cover! Not often you "Metal" singers take on this kind of music. You've got a good voice.
Funny enough I was a vocalist in a few death metal/grindcore bands and always wanted to cover can't feel my face, gnarls Barkley crazy, seal kiss from a rose and some others lol. I love all types of music and especially love bands that blend stuff that is seemingly on opposite ends of the spectrum musically. I think Killswitch Engage does a good job of blending melodic clean vocals that are pretty with heavier metal music with screams.
There's like 7 albums that are nothing but shit like this and a whole RUclips channel? I don't know if you've realized that in these past 5 years but if you haven't I highly recommend looking into it.

I love the sound of jazzy swinging dropped guitars. Also, the fact that the drums introduced a triplet pattern that sounds like the cover switches back and forth between 6/8 and 4/4 timing patterns during certain parts of the cover. This sets up the vocalist to bring a powerful voice to match the attitude of the cover turning this pop-hit into a beautiful sound of art! Seraphim, your covers are amazing, and I can definitely say for sure that y'all have the best covers I have ever listened to. Y'all take improvising to a whole new level and turn it into something everyone enjoys! Keep doing what y'all love to do!
