  • Merry Christmas!! German coins have so much depth, and I had a really enjoyable time purchasing this group of German and German-related coins from a European auction house. There are so many historical coins inside, with some really interesting pickups that I'm excited to add to my collection and auctions! Let me know if you like this style of a video... I learned so much while making it!

A great purchase and also an awesome tribute to your ancestors, Christian ! The average price per coin is quite reasonable. 1:30 Prince Albert, the husband of Queen Victoria, was from the House of Sachsen- Coburg Gotha. 1:58 coins like these were pure copper coins. 2:24 the topic on the Saarland coin is a coal mine. 7:15 This Prussian 1/48 Thaler was minted at Magdeburg (mintmark F). Greets from GER, U.

Wow, great coins! I like the German States coins, it also leads one to very interesting history.
The coins used in German East Africa was the Rupie, first 64 pesa = one rupie from 1890 to 1902, and then 100 heller = one rupie from 1904 until the end of WW1.
