It was definitely worth every penny. My favorite(s) are: Drunk in Love, Rocket, Partition, and Pretty Hurts. Dammit, I just love them all. She did great with this album!

This is the Beyonce I'VE been waiting on too. I've never been a Beyonce fan but with this album and those videos... she has me paying attention and probably a lot of other people too. You can tell she put a lot of work into it and worked to get it just RIGHT and it definitely paid off. The way she released it was awesome and the fact that she has a video to every song and GOOD videos at that (which are hard to come by these days). You go Beyonce.
This video is classic & I loved it all from Kevin being drunk to all the shade. I would love to see a "part 2" after makael has seen the videos & after you guys have had time for the music to sink in a bit

So far, my favorite song is Flawless cuz it reminds me of like a female anthem and how we should be proud of ourselves as women and not hide. 2nd fave is Partition cuz its sexy and fresh. The videos all seem creative and really well done. I'm happy we got the vids as well as the songs.
This is truly an album, it flows so cohesively. I love the the social issues she addressed, the pressure women are put under to be perfect, "Pretty Hurts". How women have to work harder than men and the feminist speech "Flawless". How artists have to fight and stand together against these record labels "Super Power." She clocked Columbia in "Ghost", "I don't trust these record labels, i'm touring". It was very Erkah Badu, something I wouldn't have expected her to say. She takes you in to the Cater's home, their relationship "Jealous", sexual activities "Partition" "Rocket", the miscarriage or a friend dying "Heaven", I actually heard emotion in Beyonce's voice that song. One of my favorites is "Haunted" its was definitely a tribute to Madonna, the visuals are amazing. "Blow" is so sexual and fun, it took me to the 80's with Vanity and Prince. She might get scrutinized for being overly sexual, but she is grown. This might be her career-defining album, unless she comes even harder next go round. Lol she coming for Hateretha with the grammy's.
I have never bought a beyonce album in my life, but after this review I spent that 15.99 plus change (amazon doesn't charge tax) and it was well worth it! Best album I've heard this year (sorry Drake). Thank y'all!

I've been half watching you guys' past videos but this one I watched all the way through. And I must say that I truly enjoyed this video. You can tell you guys had fun doing this one.
Beyonce showed us that there are still true mainstream artists that can be sexy without being disrespectful and distasteful. Her wordplay was flawless where your earls weren't polluted with vulgarities. She was a true songwriter (with her team of course) and left things to the imagination (which I feel more artists should take heed to). She left us thinking, wondering and guessing. You have to love that.
The beehive reminds me of being a little girl again. I remember when I used to have this HUGE crush on Tevin Campbell...and he could do no wrong! I was in love with some him..and here we are in 2013 and you got GROWN men and women acting like little girls over an overhyped album. Its not a classic album ppl. Its a cool album though. but too much hype.

@thescorpionshow I just wanted to share my interpretation of the Heaven-Video: I believe that she actually does adress her miscarriage, but in a much deeper way than one might expect. I think Ashley is supposed to represent her "lost" baby in the future (as an adult) and Beyonce thinking about the things she couldve done with her daughter who unfortunately died way too soon. Thats why you can see all the different scenes with Ashley from hanging out with Beyonce, to marrying someone, to being a mom herself. In the end, you see the light and both of them making their way to the "Christ the Redeemer" statue, as if Beyonce was accompanying her "lost" daughter to heaven and letting go. That's why the transition from "Heaven" to "Blue" is soo breathtaking. I don't know if you agree, but thats how I understood the video.

At 3am, I called my sister lol, the next morning she called me and said did you really call me at 3am! to tell me Beyonce released her cd??!!! I said YES, I sure did lol. My top 5 songs are Partition, Flawless, Blow, Haunted, Blue.

This video was HILARIOUS!!!! Makael, Im with you on Partition, I listened to that song literally like 10 times before I could go on to the next lol. I was up at 3am and clicked on one of my blogs and saw that she released the album. At 3am, I called my sister lol, the next morning she called me and said did you really call me at 3am! to tell me Beyonce released her cd??!!! I said YES, I sure did lol. My top 5 songs are Partition, Flawless, Blow, Haunted, Blue.
Love the review. People take themselves to serious when commenting in your vlogs, but I live for interaction between Kev & Makael. My fav songs so far now is Mine, Pretty Hurts, Partition, Flawless, & No Angel. The videos that accompany the album are beautiful and so well put together. She definitely surprised me. Sensory overload; Scandal then Beyonce' a great way to end the year.

i love this review but im going to need yal to talk about all the videos. Yonce, ghost, and watch the whole haunted video. I know haunted is creepy at first but its very artistic toward the end. Yonce was very good too with all the models. She also said alot of deep and contreversal things in the ghost song that im curious to hear your opinion on. no shade i just would like the hear your response everything because yal go in and i enjoy!!! keep working hard.
