Challenges facing smallholder farmers

Wandie Kazeem interviewing Raheem Hussein, a smallholder farmer from Ilero, Oyo State. Raheem is from a generation of farmers with over forty years experience in farming. He cultivates thirty hectares of farmland annually, planting cassava and vegetables.
In this interview Raheem discusses his journey into farming and why farming is predominant in his community. He talks about the challenges he is faced with; quality seeds, mechanization, access to finance and market. He discusses the farmers and herdsmen crises and how it is affecting their community.
