Why do you subtract pressure (p) in the denominator? If you take the basic hoop stress equation sigma = p*D/(2 t) and you rearrange it for the wall thickness you get thickness = p*D/(2*sigma), plus allowances. Of course, sigma is the allowable stress. What is the source of this "-p" down there?
