Welcome to my home city Shawn and Charlotte! Bella and Bertie are the two Liver Birds that sit on top of the Liver Buildings. Local legend has it that Bella faces out to sea watching out for the safe return of the sailors. Whilst Bertie looks towards the city, making sure the pubs are open and the sailors families are safe. Great vlog as always - Merry Christmas! 🎁🎄🎅🏻❄️☃️
I visited Liverpool for the first time this past summer and absolutely fell in love. The Beatles Story was great. You can get a ticket that will get you a ride on the Mersey Ferry and entrance to the museum. It's totally worth it. And as another commenter below said, that is a liver bird.
Loved this, thanks for visiting our city. Saw a few things I didn’t know where there myself. It’s a shame you didn’t get to visit the giant Father Christmas in the museum of Liverpool, he’s 18ft tall! Maybe next time. Merry Christmas to you both x
Thanks for sharing this lovely Liverpool Christmas video. Visited in '16 - was a lifetime dream to see where the Beatles lived and started out (I'm a huge Beatles fan). Hope to return one day.
It's not unusual to have an outdoor mall, got quite a few of them where I live and it's fun to go in the snow. The lights are beautiful, thanks for sharing another great video.
Charlotte in that giant croc was so funny I could see her buying that for your home 😂😂😂😂 we have a JD shop in Hull St Stephen's but no giant croc unfortunately
Excellent video Charlotte and Shawn from a festive evening out in Liverpool as we check out the 2023 Christmas Markets! We start off with a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Royal Albert Dock before checking out the fantastic Christmas lights throughout the city. We also do some Christmas shopping, Charlotte lays in a HUGE Croc and we enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Christmas markets! keep the good videos coming on the channel, Charlotte and Shawn.😀😀👍👍🎄
Really enjoyed this vlog .... . Thank you, Sean and Charlotte. But Liverpool on a normal Time is good. Every time I've been. I have stopped at the Adelphi Hotel . Just around the corner from the lime street " train station.👍🇬🇧
Welcome to liverpool Shawn and Charlotte as Charlotte was woundering what type of of birds is the liver birds they are pheonixs and before covid hit the world they use to have a christmas market on the albert docks with a ice skating ring hope to see you around liverpool soon
It's not because you live in the midlands. Sean . I've been all over the UK and I'm telling you. Liverpool is the best city I've ever been to. Manchester being my second one.👍🇬🇧
On an unrelated note I imagine the merlin midway estate will expand in places like Liverpool. I can totally see them using it in the future with more cluster attractions given what scott has said in interviews. Would be great for a dungeons etc
Liverpool 1 sounds more like the name of Liverpool's signature skyscraper-I don't know what the actual equivalent to the World Trade Center or Empire State Building in New York
Greetings, Shawnosaurus and Queen Charlotta! Just an observation. In your introductions to your videos you often say “And so much more!” In America, this is frowned upon as it makes the person who says it sounds like a huckster or insincere. Here in the USA we have extended commercials called “infomercials” and they usually have someone trying to con viewers into buying wildly overpriced and often poor quality items. Two of the most dreaded lines a huckster can say are: 1. “But wait! There’s more!” And 2. “And so much more!” So, please consider NOT saying “And so much more!” As it makes you sound….false. Anyway, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and all the good people who watch your videos. Stay safe!
@@TheSanbrookeAdventures But your videos are seen all over the world. Remember, your audience is NOT just folks in the UK! Talk to friends in other countries and you might hear others agree that "And so much more!" sounds less than sincere. I LOVE your videos and Charlotte and you are a ray of sunshine but everytime I hear you say "And so much more!" my skin crawls! Anyway, I appreciate your reply. Have a stupendous evening!
@@yourroyalhighness7662 Oh for god sakes, I'm in the US and I wouldn't even give this a thought. I really wonder what goes through some Americans heads, like we are the only country. If you watched at least one of their videos you would know they are very sincere, boy this really embarrasses me. Hey Shawn, this American has no idea what this person is talking about, please continue being you, most of us love you two!! An apologetic American. I will add to our "offended" American - the title says the Royal Albert Dock, shopping and more. There was more than those two things. He didn't say "And so much more". If that makes your skin crawl, I could use a word I've literally never used before and say, what a "snowflake" There's an American phrase that should make your uber sensitive skin crawl.
@@nicoledarling9646 No, not really. You obviously only absorbed part of what I wrote. I too am a fan of Shawn and Charlotte as I did make clear. I did not say that he was insincere. I said the phrase "And so much more" SOUNDS insincere. There are approximately 340 million Americans here in the USA. Some would have trouble with the phrase in question. Others would not. I was merely stating how I felt about the phrase. Keep calm. Don't have a heart attack over the matter.

Never heard those names!
Can’t wait to tour around Liverpool when we go to our first LFC match at Anfield. Liverpool One reminds me of the malls we have in San Diego.
It’s a great city!
Yes, it seemed so similar to the malls in Fashion/Mission Valley (when we visited a few years back).

We are going to Liverpool on Sunday. Never been before x
I think the bird is a Liverbird as its a Liverbird on top of the Liverpool building a famous Liverpool symbol.
It is indeed!
The Liverpool 1 is spread out in other area's of the city. That were once owned by the council but they have redeveloped the precints
Thanks for sharing!

Liverpool docks remind me of Cardiff Bay
liverpool have pinched that windmill bar from manchester it used to be beside the town hall 😂
I thought so!
Would’ve loved to see you both to buy you both a drink or two. I’m from the Wirral but love Liverpool for a good night out.
Always love a trip to Liverpool!
Great video as always. Do you know the manufacturer of the coaster?
Thank you! Pinfari I believe!
If Liverpool doesn't have a Lemon Street, that's a missed opportunity
That must be a very expensive electricity bill with all those lights wrapped around those coloumns.

Have you seen the video's, Top Fuel "2" is actually testing...
