    Thank you so much for giving the peak names! We hiked it yesterday (3rd time I think) and took bearings to a few so we could figure them out after. You made it easy for us!!

    Heck of a hike. 3300' in 4 miles or so. Have to make that hike this fall - ... have to get in better shape too, or at least a more positive frame of mind. Excellent video as usual.

    Love watching your videos as always! They remind me of Alone in the Wilderness with Dick Proenneke. I hope someday to be able to recognize all the varieties of plants and flowers you can.

    Amazing, your ability to recall flower and peak names after hiking such a steep trail.

      thanks! The peaks I look up in the "peakfinder" phone app, and also in Gaia GPS app, before recording the panoramas. The wildflowers however are pretty much memorized except for new ones..

    Nice video. This is on my list. How’s the road going to the trailhead? High clearance required?

    • @HikingInMemoryOfHeidi
      @HikingInMemoryOfHeidi  3 года назад

      I was glad for my truck’s high clearance and 4WD, but there was a small van at the trailhead so probably not required

    Seattle River??
    Or Suiattle or Whatever??
    My wife is an enrolled member of the Sauk-Suiattle Indian Tribe.
    Loosely. Said.... Sock - Soo i ´attle
    Or Suk meh hoo on the Pt. Elliot Treaty of 1855.
    Sui at meh hoo for the area viewed in this video.
    Is how her ancestors spoke of these places.
    Or Whatever....
    I will look forward to any whatever's regarding the tribe I am enrolled in on the most north westerly point of the Continental United States.
