This track cover the essence of Evanescence, the original sound. The haunting backgound voices, Will's bass, John and Ben's signature gothic melodic solos, simple but good and solid drumming from Rocky and beautiful lyrics from Amy
I think Ben wrote most of the original sound stuff
But Amy has a big influence still as a co writer
It's half the reason Ben believed Evanescence would fail once she booted him from the band✌️

This has always been my favorite Evanescence song. I can't explain how it makes me feel, only that from the moment I heard it for the first time, it never left me.

Ben left the band during this tour. They hated each other since late 2001. Amy wanted the band to have complete creative control, and Ben wanted to become more and more mainstream. They were both complete bitches about it, and then Ben took off thinking it was in the band's best interests.

Not sure why but I used to skate to this song alot. I think it was that guitar solo and just the guitar itself that used to get me so hyped and the base line. Overall it's a pretty sick song.
