Dave Smith has been making synths for 40 years, and traditionally has sold them at a relatively high price. With the Rev2, an update to the original Prophet 08 analog poly synth, that has changed.
The 8 and 16 voice keyboard versions of the Rev2 cost just like the newly announced Korg Prologue, but have substantially more modulation options. The 8 voice Rev2 costs as much as the 8 voice Novation Peak, but is multi-timbral.
Has Dave Smith come out with a "value" poly synth?
This clip is a comprehensive review and overview of all the features an options of the new Prophet Rev2.

I come back to this video from time to time to remind myself what a deep synth I have in my hands. Seems Loopop learned more about the Rev.2 in a week than I have managed in over a year! Great vid. Hope it stays up for some time to come.
this is not just a review but a great tutorial as well. I learned a lot. Thank you!
I've had my Rev2 for a year now. It's really comfortable, easy to use, and sounds great. Love it.
Hey, I think of getting one.. But I read from parameter changes when you change the program, which would be very annoying, when playing live. Do you ever had any experiences with it?
@@simonkoch8312 it's a well designed synth that behaves a it should. That being said it doesn't have an edit buffer. So if you're editing a patch and change patches, unless you saved your edit, it's gone. A minor thing really and not a detriment
@@adrianmaule7128 sorry, don't really understand. So it is possible to save patches, right?
@@simonkoch8312 yes. Absolutely
@@adrianmaule7128 and you never had problems, when changing to another patch?
I'm weird/obsessive, so sometimes I watch reviews/demos of gear I already own :)
it's better than TV and an easy way to study, just for another perspective or approach, or just perhaps learn something you missed out on (like the editor software, I wasn't aware of this, might have to look into it - thanks).
Anyway - I already owned the 16 voice keyboard version for some months myself so I'm quite familiar with it, thought you did good at covering "what it feels like to own the instrument".
Analog Monoxide I‘m “weird/obsessive” in exactly the same way as you. :)
Analog Monoxide Same exact thing here lol 👍
my kids do that all the time - watch people making demos for games or things they already have - i am starting to do the same thing - what a hypocrite - lol
I've advanced to the level where I watch reviews on the shampoo in my shower and the food in my fridge. Stop before it's too late!!
@@EricEustace haha
I have watched many reviews on this synth and I think this one is my favorite. I like how you not only show the features but take the time to describe and show them in action. I got the Rev 2 this time last year and it's one of my favorite synths. I'll be getting the software now, thanks!
There's just something so appealing about DSI synths, from the knobs to the design, I love them.
dave smith is kinda the steve jobs of synthesizers
WOW, are your reviews above and beyond. The Rev2 is something I've been kind of saving up for, and this has been incredibly helpful in making a more informed decision. At the end you said something about the review being too long, but that you were trying to leave the viewer with a sense of the instrument that an owner would have. I think you've succeeded in a big way, and I think that you're setting a new standard for objective, knowledge-based criticism. Thanks for posting.
This was a very informative, non-euphoric, non-hipster, calm review. You're doing EVERYTHING right. :)
Bollie there’s hipster synth reviews?
“Non hipster “
non-euphoric? expand on that please
First of all, what have you got against euphoria? Second of all, what the hell is a "euphoric synth review"?
Speaking about the patch used in intro... euphoric af :D
I finally got it. It took me few months to decide REV2 or Peak and I went with Rev2 because I like sounds better. I love it so much. Also Neutron pushed me into eurorack, I got bunch of modules and I am building case. I spent all money.
But apparently you're an incel? Arguably worse.
@@almightyEsquilax i edited joke part is it now better
Absolutely FANTASTIC review ! FINALLY (!!!), somebody has approached this from the sound designing point of view instead of just reading the Tech Specs of the instrument. This "hands-on" approach has truly given me much better understanding of the Prophet Rev2 strengths and limitations, which in turn will influence my decision of purchasing one in the future, or not. The BEST review of the Prophet Rev2 ever! Thank you ! Subscribed.
psbsynthmusic thanks for the comment ;)
I just purchased the Rev2 and found this to be very helpful :) thank you!
Thanks, your review was one of the key factors i decided to get Rev 2 instead of another synth. I am over the moon with it now. And yes you are really good at this, I want that book :)
I accidentally discovered the LFO per voice when I first got mine, it left me scratching my head for a while. You can make the Rev2 do some very cool semi-random music generation with sample and hold. I was very happy because it was playing me a song it made up all by itself.
Could you elaborate on that? I'm a bit confused on the lfo per voice. Not much mentioned in the manual about this. Thanks!
+ one more interested to see how this works would be great.
@@mrcgeraldes I'm not sure if it's exactly what this guy is talking about, but I found you could do some interesting things by having an LFO set to noise and then routing that to the VCA. You'll end up hearing the last notes you played (the VCOs hold the last notes that they played but you can't hear them because the envelope is closed), but since each voice has it's own LFO, all the envelopes for each voice will all be at different values. The result of this is some nice little generative music.
I had no idea about getting those FM tones with the res turned all the way up, and key tracking to 64. I feel like this video just gave me a whole new synth!!
Thank you for this fantastic review / tutorial 🙏
This was the review that made me buy it.
One of the best synth reviews that I have ever viewed: very thorough, good pace, well explained thanks. Should have x1000 views.
Terrance Hounsell thanks very much! I just uploaded so hopefully soon ;)
You are by far my favorite youtube synth guy. Your videos are always comprehensive and inspiring. Thank you.
sasha jedinac wow, thanks for taking the time to write this ;)
just isn't as punchy as the analog controller on the Prophet 5/10 or 6 even.. I don't see a solution to that sadly. and otherwise I'd rush out and get it.
No. This review was not too long . Great video!
Sauce_Aux great - thanks!
this is how all reviews should be, I watched the whole thing. Thank you sir!
great review.
love that this synth is available in both a standard form factor or a very compact desktop mode.
seems to offer a lot of well thought-out functionality and classic analogue sounds for a competitive price.
longer term I would be thinking about what happens to the companion software when there are big changes in computer hardware.
that said, the onboard display and intuitive design seems to allow standalone function.
Is it sounds thst noisy? Or it's your audio interface/commutation/pinmic? Awesome review as always!
Clearly a man who knows his way around a synth and added talent can translate the madness into english! thank you for this!! used your review when i bought my rev2 and revisit as i'm still trying to understand certain architecture
Everythiiiiiing... in its right ...
Javi G do you know how to achieve this patch on the rev2
Single oscillator saw filter cutoff low round 9 o'clock 0 velocity a little key filtering to taste, filterenv fast attack, mid decay, mid sus, ease off the attack slightly, higher release on amp envelope, osc2 triangle and mix to taste.
Thank you

I LOVE that I find you people everywhere
your reviews are always great. organised, clear, conclusive and rewarding. Than you very much for your effort. Great job.
Thanks :)
If you don’t already have a good keyboard, I really recommend the Rev2 as master-keyboard, buying other synths as modules instead, as the Rev2 has the nicest keyboard feel out there, imho.
and with aftertouch!
such a well done review! and yes, I had an idea of what it feels like to own it. thorough, but not too long. I actually prefer the sound of the Rev2 to the Prophet 6. The P6 (and OB6) just make me want the originals (which to me, sound SO much nicer in comparison). The Rev2 is it's own thing, and it does it's thing very well, in my opinion. Wish we had more than 2 layers to work with and more than one effect to use at a time. Some of the sounds in this thing remind me of M83's "Run Into Flowers". very nice.
Just coming back to say that it’s not too late to do a Rev2, Prologue, Summit versus video… Synthesizers are timeless, so it’s never too late
Man,
Yes it was a long review.
Just how I like it. ;)
Thorough, solid, comprehensive overview of what might be my next instrument .
Thank you, ver much
Yes, l always appreciate the informative, measured tone of your videos. Thanks! :)
Been watching your videos for months checking out what synths would be best for what I'm trying to do musically,..and just realized I'm not subscribed yet. Well I am now sir. And think this is gonna be the one that sits next to my grandmother.
doubt you didnt notice, but didnt mention, looping feature on the envelope has sick possibilities for frequency and amplitude modulation
Hands down, best tutorials/reviews ever.. Thanks so much !
Just got the full one with keys.
Guys! Please pay the extra for the keys, they're my favorite out of my 30 keyboards and synthesizers.
I’m amazed you haven’t reviewed the DSI pro 3 ! It’s a game changer for me . And the circlon like sequencer isn’t anything to spit at either👽I’m in love with mine and passed on the uno pro for it instead! Incredible and fantastic except no substitute Dave knocked it out of the park . And the plain Jane model looks like a modern polvicks! A no brainer to be sure. Peace Christo👽
You`re right. Sometimes the perspective helps if your view is like "frozen" - doing very much the same.. Really love the calming voice, thx and keep up the excellent work!!
Cool, looks like Ive found another go to review channel along with Sonicstate/Lab, subbed
I ordered the 16 voice keyboard version. It arrives tomorrow. I’m so exited!
Congrats!
How is it?! I get mine on thursday😬😬😬
Go Ocean it’s unreal! I absolutely love it! The keyboard feels amazing and it sounds amazing. The amount of unique sounds that you can make are limitless. Go ahead and start reading the Manuel. You won’t regret getting this synth!
Really well done. I am going find one of these. Love this. I quit playing out in the eighties. We got on with a Rhodes and with being lucky borrow a mini-moog.Thanks.,..
So will it do an LFO like on pitch where you can play notes in sequence and it will just run one LFO on the whole thing? Or does it reset the LFO every time you hit a key?
Excellent review! By far the best review I have ever seen on RUclips.
Correction, it’s not knob per function. LFO section is shared by all LFOs and since the knobs are not infinite and without “previous” indicator it’s a big weakness as they’re essentially reset every time you change one and want to come back to slightly tweak the other. Another reviewer mentioned that after loading a preset there’s also no “previous” values displayed for any knobs at all and that Prophet 6 had that. I think they should have either went with infinite encoders for LFOs or just placed a set of dedicated knobs for each. As it is, you can’t slightly tweak them and have to start from scratch every time you switch between them.
DeepMind is much better thought out in this regard, and upon loading new preset shows the actual values of each fader so you can move it to match position. DeepMind is also not knob-per-function but the sharing of faders is happening between the 3 Envelopes. Since the “previous” values are available and you can even see the actual Envelope shapes in the display it’s easier to navigate. Ultimately, imho, both are stingy in not providing dedicated knobs for everything. But at least making the shared knobs infinite would be a sufficient compromise, since the surface of these synths is just digital controllers anyway. Rev2 being multi-timbral, it should have been made COMPLETELY with infinite knobs with values. Imagine switching between layers and slightly tweaking individual knobs! What’s the point in having knobs that don’t correspond to the actual values?
Synthesizers were invented by people trying to break away from “tradition”, but now they are held back technologically by aesthetics of those (at the time) revolutionary designs.
Love your videos btw ;)
God I was about to pull the trigger on a Deepmind12, but now I'm hooked on this beast!!!
Me too!
There different
Sold my Deepmind 12D and bought a Desktop Prophet Rev2 16 voice.
Now I have Two knob per function synths in one box with separate outs.
The Behringer can't compete.
really good and thorough review. Ilove your format for reviewing and your happy go lucky style, thank you :)
This is great video! Got my Rev2 last week, your video hast been a very good bying guide, thanks a lot🤗👍
This review is fantastic. Thanks for the in depth analysis
I checked this video out to see your comments on the sequencer. In this video you seemed to like it for a "sequencer on a synth." In your book, you say you don't like it at all. Thoughts?
OK to be fair the first part of the sentence in the book says "I love the way the Rev2 sounds" :) Like I mentioned in this video, the sequencer requires quite a bit of menu diving (unless you're using the paid companion app) and is cumbersome. Luckily the cover of my book states it's incomplete... so I'll refine the language in the book since indeed it's not that I don't like it at all, I don't like programming it at all on the synth itself. Once you get it going it's actually a relatively interesting differentiator for Rev2, as I say in the video. So, bottom line, I stand by the video, and need to elaborate what I mean a bit more in the book...
Looking forward to a Peak vs Rev2 video. :)
Yes! Just got to get me a Peak....
+1 .. should be interesting!
Waiting! :)
"Yes! Just got to get me a Peak...."
You and me both. :)
Your videos in particular, though, are extremely useful and informative. Even when I'm not interested in the device you're covering, I still enjoy it and end up learning something helpful. You have a knack for uncovering the most interesting aspects of each device, the things other people typically don't notice or don't mention. A deeper look, or a different angle. Sometimes this gets me interested in things I had previously ignored, or vice-versa.
So I look forward to all your videos. But especially about the Peak, since it's the synth I'm most interested in.
Rev2 vs Peak is a bit of an odd pairing though. On the one hand, an expensive premium brand with oldschool cred decided to make something slightly cheaper. On the other hand, a somewhat younger company which usually makes cheaper gear decided to make the best synth they could think up. They ended up hitting the same price point, but in different ways.
The Rev2 has some interesting features, particularly in the interface and how it avoids menus. Being bi-timbral allows it to function as two semi-independent polysynths, if I understand correctly, or layer two sounds. OTOH, it seems like the Peak has a deeper and more versatile synthesis engine with higher precision and more modulation options, more performance-oriented controls, nicer core effects, and some interesting new ideas overall, but is monotimbral and a bit more prone to using menus.
After I heard about the Prophet 5 Rev 4 I thought about to implementing the Vintage behaviour to the rev 2. the only thing archieving that is the slope AND velocity with small amounts to modulate the times of the Envelopes of the filter and amp. Because the vintage knob does this. Is velocity in the mod matrix polyphonic? (Like for the amps and filters) so you can modulate the envelopes attack and decay in small steps. Per voice. Because every stroke of a key is a little different from another, so the envelope times can diverge.
Great work Loopop, love your format. I acquired a Rev2 8 voice keyboard a few months ago and am really enjoying it. The Keystep function in the sequencer is great for creating long evolving patterns.
Joshua WILLIAMS thanks and indeed!
Thank you for pointing out the keystepfunction!
A year later and I’m revisiting this before making a decision on getting the Matriarch. Your in depth reviews of both help so much. Thank you.
Ja'Maul Redmond what one you going to buy? I'm thinking of the same 2
@@eladreltuc It was extremely difficult to decide but I went with The Matriarch. I absolutely love it.
Great video, you know what you are talking about mate!!
I am still not sure if REV 2 is my best option...I've just tried the KORG PROLOGUE 8 today and it's a pretty complete synth too.
ONE QUESTION: Is there any way to switch between poly/mono or chord function in the REV2? The PROLOGUE has it and I find it very useful. But I think you do not mention this in the video.
Thanks
just found out you can transpose a sequence by holding the record button while a sequence is playing
What a great review! Thank you for taking the time for the details. This really helped my decision process.
Ziv many thanks for everything, i have a suggestion maybe more of an idea: could you please add the firmware version of the synthesizers you test in the description. It would really help understanding why sometimes things can be different from the version you have tested in you review! Keep up the good work!
Noted, though it’s probably right for everything I reviewed that can get a firmware update - you’re most likely watching a video with old firmware unfortunately :(
@@loopop Thank you! Yes i know that it's reviewed with an older firmware but when i have the exact version number i can see in the release notes what is changed up to know. It makes life easier!
I watch loads of synth reviews but this is one of the best I’ve seen. A great balance of explanation for people who don’t know much about synths, but not so much that it bores those who do. (Do you teach by profession?!) I love the timeline on the left too - oddly it makes me more patient to watch the whole thing!
David Grant thanks very much for the comment - no, no teaching background unless you count this channel ;)
The only thing that seems to be missing is what your overall evaluation of the Rev2 is: Do you like the way it sounds & what it's like to program? I own one and I love it. It sounds beautiful & programming it is very intuitive. I also think it's really good way to start to understand modular synthesis, because of the amount of modulation options it has.
I tend not to mention whether I like a synth in reviews because I think that's up to viewers to judge, not for me to tell them, since we're all hearing the same thing. Plus my opinions change...
@@loopop OK, but usually you do a kind of round up of pros and cons, or something like that.
You’re right. This video was from before I started doing that
@@loopop OK, that explains it. It was a great review, anyway, but it seemed something was missing.
I saw your very detailed review and I bought the rev2-16 with keys. THX for helping.
I'm looking to be sure of my choice, my Rev 2 / 16 is on its road and will come in a few days... I can't wait to play with it. So seeing loopop showing all these features is a kind of share, he turns the knob as if it was me and I can listen the resulting sounds :-)
Thanks for the review, not too long, just the necessary and lot of details have been avoided, there's so much to tell about this machine.
The "me" of the present answers to the "me" of this recent past : I've got it. And what can be said else "it is a Sequential synth". The sound, the presence, the beauty of sounds, the feeling you have when you play, it's heaven. I've got a lot of synths and even a quite big modular system, the Rev'2 is another world and another source of inspiration. if you can afford it, do not hesitate. You'll see eventually what a true analog polyphonic synth is...
Thanks for coming back to comment! 😎
Awesome review! Would love to see a review and comparison of the Prophet 12 and this!
Wonderfully in depth review. Thank you!
I would love to see this in a comparison with the prophet-6 desktop and maybe the OB desktop. what is the actual difference between all of them are all of them VCO, are they all digital FX, and what use cases might it make sense to choose one over the other. The only thing I could tell so far is that OB has deeper lows and higher fuzz compared to the pro-6 desktop.
Is it still relevant? I'm hooked on the 16 voice but I have not yet bought it.
I think so; it has a lot of competition, but interesting mod and sequencer options, and a great sound regardless
Two of the voices don't work anymore. So right now i am playing a 6 voice. Did a firmware update and now when I want to change layer B I get a note that is hanging until I change it back to AB. Very dissapointed now because I love the sound. No warranty anymore so its going to cost me.
Perfect (i.e. just the best) video about a nearly perfect synth. Kudos!
Great stuff. Currently looking at this synth as my next one. If you could do a review of the OB6 that would be amazing.
what did you get in the end?
Fantastic review, thank you very much for the time and detail. Not at all too long, enjoyed very much watching it. You achieved your goal of getting a taste of what it's like to own it, and oh does it taste good!
This thing sounds A LOT like my Oberheim Matrix 1000. I have the 16 voice REV2 and treat it like my second higher voice count Matrix 1000 with knobs and effects. Cool synth.
I have a Matrix 6 and just compared them today... the Matrix is more alive I feel, and has more "warmth" to it. If the Rev2 would sound like the Matrix, with all that controls and the nice interface, that would be great I think!
@@timmbrockmann959 I have a Matrix 1000 (with an external controller for full control/editing of the synth) and am looking for a companion polysynth that would complement it. I was seriously considering the Rev2, but these two comments caught my attention. Do you feel that they cover similar territory, sonically?
@@bktimes2238 Hey! I somehow changed my opinion a bit about the Rev2 , and think it is a really great machine. I wouldn´t say that the cover the same territory. The Rev2 sounds more modern, which is good. I figured that the Matrix-6 was almost too vintage sounding, and it was bit hard to get modern sounds out of it.. but there´s different applications for both.
@@timmbrockmann959 Thanks for the info! Definitely going to demo the Rev2 to see if it fits my needs.
Loved that "Heart and Soul" riff.
AFAIK, this wasn't the only time you've sneaked it into a review, right? 😉
Thanks yeah sometimes I use simple, easily recognizable tunes to show a point
I love the OB/X samples on my Elektron Analog 4 so definitely want a Prophet along with one of the new Jupiter Roland synths.
Samples???
The review was not too long. And the synth is bought. Thank you very much for that in-depth review! Liked&subscribed!
Love the everything in its right place intro :)
You videos are great by the way, I was considering buying an octatrack mk2 and you basically sold it to me!
Awesome video as always man! If possible you’ve made me want one of these even more!!! Haha! Informative, helpful and detailed. Keep up the great work dude!
What a Beautifully made video thank you. I really had a hard time choosing between the DS rev2 and the korg prologue. The Sequencer is what made me go with the Rev2 in the end, and also, it is much easier and faster to assign different parameters than the Korg..I find. And the fact that soon, you will able to upgrade from 8 to 16 voices for not expensive at all is a +
Will the Rev2 Expander kit drop in price soon?
I have no idea - ask them?
As usual, an excellent review/tutorial. Thank you!
Thanks for this excellent thorough review! Is the glide polyphonic? Thx!
Hi all, II just got a REV2 and I can not figure out how to clear the sequence of the factory presets apart from editing each 64 steps and replacing the existing notes with a rest. There must be a way to do that easily right ?
An absolutely fanatstic review of this synth! I really enhoy these well made reviews, and it would be so cool if you made a video on the subsequent 37. It is kind of the monophonic synth in the same price range as the rev 2
felix madcatz thanks! It’s on my todo list... but the list is long... these manufacturers gotta stop making new ones
superb review mate. the rev2 is still on my list for this year. may i ask, how many sounds can i use in the sequencer? can i for example make a bassline and on top of that a pad and a third sequence with an arp? i see in your review a screenshot of the editor, that shows 6 tracks for the sequencer. this means i can sequence 6 different sounds in 6 tracks?
second, is the software just like the sub37 software, where it remembers settings in cubase? so, if i work on a project and have the prophet with a pad in it, this same pad opens in the same channel when i close and open cubase?
and to close; i can only use one instance of the prophet in cubase right? i cant have several midi tracks of the prophet in one project?
The synth has two identical synth engines which can be split layered or used as two independently controlled synths. Therefore you can ony sequence two different sounds at a time. That means that although you have six sequences running concurrently, you can only use two sounds at once.
I've had the REV2 (16 voices) for 4 years now. But I still don't really like it. Whereas I've had the OB6 (desktop) for almost as long, and still love it as the first day I got it. As soon as Behringer will finally make the UB-Xa available for purchase (clone of the Oberheim OB-Xa), the REV2 will be gone, despite having much more comprehensive modulation capabilities, I don't like the sound of it.
Still a fantastic synth
Is the midi controller you are using totally compatible? like are there any aspects you are misisng because it is the desktop version?
Good review. I liked how you showed every aspect of the synth in detail. Very informative.
Your format is perfect.
What song is that riff from at 4:20? :)
Would you recommend the Prophet Rev2 or the Novation Peak? I love sounds like Stranger Things, Blade Runner (original and 2049), as well as The Weeknd After Hours. Thanks for any tips you can provide. Love your videos!
Both are great, my personal preference but it shouldn't apply to you because it's based on a preference of sound and not a certain feature, and it might change in the future... go with what will inspire you to create
Thank you for the first review I've seen that lets us hear this synth dry without twelve gallons of digital reverb halls enabled.
December Agents on the contrary i have a prophet 08 and it has no fx , i think they give the prophet a finishing toich.
Another great job, looper🤙
I´m still a bit confused about what Sequential synth to buy but at the moment the P-Rev2 is the most likely one.
Same.
If you hold the LFO button and turn a knob to link the LFO to that parameter, how do you un-link if you change your mind? Does it respond to polyphonic aftertouch? Seems like it would if there's per-voice LFOs. Can you have the layers on separate MIDI channel with full keyboard range or just with a split? Your "playing with a friend on 2 keyboards" example seems like it's on different MIDI channels.
Maybe you can answer this. It seems Sequential Support is closed on weekends and it's very difficult to register for the Sequential Forum. They ask a verification question. I Google the answer. I go back to register. They change the question!
I can't find anything on Google about my problem.
So... what happens if I turn off my REV2 while it's in auto-calibrate mode?
It's been in that mode for about 19 hours. (I thought I had a sound problem. I probably didn't. But I calibrated the oscillators and filters with auto-calibrate.)
Nemanja Zivic respects your reviews.
Thanks for your time.
Sorry I really have no idea
@@loopop Thanks. Nemanja Zivic found the answer. It doesn't harm any settings. I was just being cautious.
I'm sure you have some useful tips in your book. So I am now a Patron.
Cool and thanks!!
@@loopop Happy to do it.
@loopop are those visualisations (of waveforms e.g.) come from Prophet Rev2 Sound Editor software? I'm only starting to learn sound design and it would be nice to have as much visualisations of my workflow as possible so I'm thinking about purchasing SE in addition to my Prophet Rev.2. Thanks a lot for your review and for reply as well in advance :)
Thanks! I use MOscilloscope and MAnalyzer by a company called Melda - they’re free with some limitations in the MFreeFXBundle - they’re not part of the Rev 2 software
Wonderful review with great quality and everything is explained super clear. If i may ask, is the rev2 in this video the 8 or 16 voice? If you said it in the video then i missed it ;)
Thanks! It’s the 16
Sequential Prophet Rev2 or Polybrute? There's been a lot of chatter thrown at the Poly, but I'm wondering if 6 voices are too thin.
8:20 is heaven
Man. What a great synth and video !!! Great work !!!
Thorsten thanks ;)
Virus ti2 or Prophet REV2 Polyphonic 16?
So, DSI Rev2 and Novation Peak caught my attention. Where I live there's no way to play them before buying... so... thank you for your very in-depth presentation, it helps a lot!!
So which did you go with? :)
ThX. Great review. Turning it on now in my studio.
