Charlie trying to take control at the end by reporting Harryvis again another example of not honouring his daughter's feelings and thinking about his own hurt. I understand that he is distraught about what happened to his daughter but she is a grown adult now. Again, this shows how family deal with guilt. After all those secrets, they still didn't learn - not telling Kat about Zoe running away and Lil Mo hiding she saw Zoe 😤
Hm. Little Mo getting treated like that by her own family allows me to understand how Trevor could have gotten away with treating her like that for so long.
This whole storyline only goes to show how secrets can rip a family apart. Although the trauma happens to Kat, it has affected the whole family. They tried to create a similar story much later on with the Carters when it came out that Shirley was Mick's mum and not in his sister. It caused a fracture in their family and the burden of keeping the secret even drove Shirley to try and drown Mick when he was a child. Shirley abandoned the children she later had. When the mother and father came to the Square, you could see how much she hated them (eventhough they were trying to play happy family).
I love the old eastenders these were the times when they were good, that Trevor only acted like that because he couldn't control a situation classic narracist.
Zoe left because she thought Kat was dying, I think. I think the children didn’t develop emotional skills because of the parents being pre-occupied with hiding the teemage pregnancy.
@@RexBanner_too true! I can imagine the abuse the actor must have received in real life as some people really take TV shows personally, and actually think the actors are the characters 🤭
Her sarcasm throughout the scenes is really quite funny because she is normally portrayed as meek and unintelligent. At this point she was frustrated with the family treating her like a child.
RIP Barbara windsor peggy

Indeed. The family clearly neglected her and you can see it in the way Lil Mo is portrayed as somewhat childlike (in her mannerisms).

Little Mo is actually only supposed to be 24. Totally ridiculous
Kat's actress was 30 in 2001 as well so.
Little mo looks soooo much older than 24 more like in her forties lol
@@ashwity8563 She was 34, y'all are just used to seeing women that look like children
@@FrostByteVoyager
Ahh right but still she still looks older
@@FrostByteVoyager Ah, great! So, I was exact. I was gonna say she looked 34. YAY! I never get people's ages right. First time for everything. :)

GOD I CAN’T STAND TREVOR……….
The fact that Trevor still gets people riled up 20+ years later is a testament to how good the actor is.
Actor is doing a good job then. If you liked him then there's a problem lol
