I kept asking why does he not attack?
My theory is that hqfaith must've been an extremely new player here, but with some rts experience. I think he was literally just figuring out the game. He probably couldn't understand how warp gates worked, so he just turned them back into gateways. He thought hallucinations were "summoned" units that actually helped him in battles. He got every upgrade and every unit he could find. Like, he got oracles, but he didn't use their abilities once. Also it seemed he didn't realise at first that phoenix can't hit ground targets. He found the air upgrades, but not the ground ones, so he just rolled with an air army. He pressed abilities on the mothership, because he wanted to know what they did.
You know, fleet beacons look surprisingly similar to shield batteries, so that might be why he built a forward fleet beacon. An extra large shield battery.

80 probes long distance mineing with high efficiency is rather satisfying to look at

At the 9 minute mark, I thought there was no way this goes on much longer. It was another 45 minutes, and was worth every minute of it. Well played, indeed!
80 probes on one base? After 150+ episodes you'd think we've seen it all, but dude these bronze league heroes just keep innovating!

I wish I was legitimately bad at the game so I could have these action filled unpredictable games in the lower leagues, unfortunately in diamond and high leagues it's the same bullshit every time...

The soundtrack makes it even more amazing, every event in the game is deeply intertwined with an ageless legacy from so many worlds, this is art.
I could not stop laughing at 38:35 with the air and ground units keeping up with the tempest and Winter saying "ummmm" and just moves on without skipping a beat.
It's like having tier 3 capital shits with laser cannons losing fights and races to men with guns and drugs. We could ask questions, or we could just... accept it and move on without skipping a beat, lol.

You know, today was pretty rough. This made my day, though. Thank you Winter! For consistently making my stressful days feel like they're just water under the bridge, because late at night, I get to witness your great commentary
I have never seen that many probes mining from one base before. I love Bronze League Heroes.
I know there's the factor of "if you're not great at the game you're going to fail to do some simple stuff like remembering to build probes or rebalancing probes per nexus as minerals mine out."
I get the sense that hqfaith didn't simply have insufficient apm to do the things I can see need to be done while watching the video - he actually literally doesn't know that having more than 16 probes on one mineral line doesn't mine faster than having exactly 16 AND he kept long distance mining for a super long time after losing one nexus but having another with 0 of its patches being mined.
This is one of the most frustrating bronze league heros i've ever seen - the usual mistake is forgetting to build resource collectors but he had NINETY and was still building more even when he only had one nexus to mine at! So confusing.
Actually you can mine faster all the way up to 24 probes... You just get less extra for each probe past 16.
Worse yet, he was only putting 1-2 probes on assimilators most of the time.

@@manithierry-mieg7600 Funny that I said it or funny that the guy did it? There was a time when he was mining with SIXTY probes. I learned something new today about how 18 is a better reference point for saturation than 16, but i mean, SIXTY is more than triple the right number.

BlastySpice seems like a pleasant fellow, I was expecting whining from the title.
Same, but the whining was from the long distance mining probes who see the few probes comfortably mining from a nearby mineral patch when they have to mine out in the space boonies.
The minutes of player blue has twice the workers and half the mineral income was fun

I believe that mining one base with all probes at once was actually an efficient way for hqfaith, considering not mining from many bases at once or neglecting possible threats :)

I find it very puzzling how the player with heavy macro focus (having over 90 workers) somehow manages to mine less than the micro focused player, having three times more workers and averaging around 1/10 the resources, and still being a very close game!
So many next level plays in this game lmaooo I was left flabbergasted lol

when i see the immortal drop and canons on the high ground with battery on the low ground i think it's over in 5s max but NO, it's a 52:46 mins match with 100 probes, max upgrade carrier, tempest and Mothership for god's sake =))))
