Every place has its identity & culture. One of the ways Bangalore is identified is through its Jawa Yezdi subculture.
Jawa Yezdi bikes have always been an owner's pride.
Regardless of subcultures being small; always great happiness comes in small packages. Cherish the passion in the Jawa Yezdi subculture for its uniqueness & for its 'Forever Value'
I also have yezdi 250 classic , 1982 model . I still ride it. I'm blessed having it.
Cheers man..88 model❤️
There was a time back in the mid 70s when the choice of motor bikes was limited to just 3 brands. Enfield Bullet, Ideal Jawa and Escorts Rajdoot. Ideal Jawa which around that time got a make over and became Ideal Yezdi. My dad bought me a Yezdi around '77 or '78 and I was just over 20. Me and the family used to live in New Delhi at the time. He paid Rs. 6500/- (I think around 2 months of my dad's salary) for it if I remember right. Why a Yezdi you may ask. Why not a Bullet or Rajdoot. I rather be dead than see myself on a Bullet ancient old people's bike and the Rajdoot was an ugly and very utilitarian bike. It was the dashing and rakish Yezdi that the young ones rode. 250 cc was pedestrian those days. Cause there was nothing much else to compete with this extremely popular young man of the times dream bike. But boy was it a tough nut. If it didn't start you hadda do a lot of kicking the starter. The brakes were not the greatest. So you really had to know the bike to get it to stop. One thing that I think the bikes of those days had down pat was the ergonomics. I have ridden 300 km in a day from New Delhi to Bilaspur in eastern UP on it alone and doing over a 100 on the GT road. The ride was comfortable. Seating position was just right. Had that bike for over 10 years and sold it only around the early nineties. I learnt all that I know about motorbikes from that bike.
Restored a 1971 Jawa and it runs effortlessly. I childhood wish has come true.
" I ride this bike to recharge myself" As do we all .. around the world.
Thumbs up
Just watched again and really had me nostalgic for my old bike. Sadly, I didn't get to take it with me as I had hoped. On the plus side, it went to a good home. Damn, I miss India and the BJYMC. All the best guys.
Hey Toby! Kind words. That's sad you couldn't take it with you.
Damn, I would have taken your bike if I knew you had to give it away. Probably one the best ones I liked when I shot the movie with you guys. Cheers
For better or worse, I had plenty of takers. In fact I'm meeting up with the new owner here in New York City tomorrow.
That's really nice!
+Bhushanraj R sir g good morning I need yezdi how much prices please tell me thanks
Shouldnt you be on OLX checking in that rather than RUclips?
This video is still on list. Not sure how many times I have watched so far. Huge thanks to you for putting this video as beautiful as it can be man. It's 3.15am and this is what I wanted to watch and I landed up here while am working 🔥🙏
How badly i want to be a part of Yezdi family!!!! Though i am only 16 and cannot drive one , its presence is enough to act as reason to live....!!!! Amazing Bikes
hope you got your Yezdi now that you are of age. All the best
I’m 7 years late but Hop you got your Yezdi or Jawa by now bro..
Hi ! It's a great video, so inspiring and touchy. My dad used to own a yezdi 1978 classic. He loved his bike and treated it has his first son, which I came to know when I sold it without his consent and knowledge when he was overseas. It's been nearly 18 years since that day happened. Now I am in Australia and I somehow have found the bike restored already by a gentleman named Srinivas in Delhi , I am from chennai. I got the bike from him and getting delivered to my dad as a surprise gift. It's getting delivered today or may be tomorrow . I am so eager to see his reaction on his face, but I can't me being here. Let's see what happens. Love you all yezdi family and others as well... Let the love and peace swing across...
That is sweet
I appreciate your respect for your machine. Half way around the world, I share your passion for riding, and for the same reasons !
I still hope to see the same amount of passion in 2021 and 22 onwards...Forever Bike-Forever Value ❤️
This took me right back to the days when i used to tag along with my dad, my uncle, for those super long rides, couple days i remember my uncle used to make me get the hammer to break open the padlock to have the handle unlocked. Day when i had my shoe stuck to the exhaust pipe, burnt my leg. Somehow the bike faded from sight, but the 2T sound is still fresh in the head, its still a head turner.
Very impressive to see I will buy my dream yezdi roadking soon #yezdi 💯🔥
An osm video fr a yezdi loverrr....#foreverbike #forevervalue n I'm a forever lover of this king YEZDI😃
Made me feel nostalgic. Very nicely done video!! This brand should really come back...

i was half ready to get a yezdi, till i watch this video...;)
Such an wonderful video...
One of the best Jawa Yezdi video 😍
Still a dream bike to many riders...
In the 70's My dad was the 2nd person to own a yezdi in our town, though he dint keep that bike for me, 3 years back I again stumbled into the craze of vintage bikes, drove my friends jawa for a month but couldn't buy coz he did not give me the documents of the bike. Now that I don't have one i feel very sad, if any 1 is selling a jawa or yezdi just let me know. Jawa is life.
A well made and a super cool video,.. Proud to be a Yezdi'an,..
Love it's exhaust. Rode Rajdoot back in 1999-2000. Both have very powerful exhaust note.
First of All i would like to thanks a lot. when i was in 5th my father bought JAWA it"s no. was GJN 1095. it was realy like a family member. I started to ride JAWA motorcycle when i was in 8th. I was a wonderful experience. I love that bike so. there is no other bike in compare to JAWA. JAWA is JAWA and it"s sound also. We should restore this kind of vintage motorcycles.
Brilliant Video. None of the new bikes have a soul in them, these old ones do.
nice bike...... I raced this bike in 72 in sholavaram gran prix.... and finished as runner up to a yezdi raced by the Factory.......... Jawa Does it all!!!

''He is older than me...i can still hear the sound in my ears that i heard in my childhood when waiting for my dad to came back home..the roaring sound from faraway...what a nostalgic feeling...i love it.love him too''

I bought my first bike, a 1979 CZ 250 De Luxe in 1980 when I was 19. I still have it and it has covered 79,000 miles in that time including touring France in 1991.
I now have 3 x CZ 250 twins, 3 x CZ 350 twins, 2 x CZ 175, 1 x CZ 250 single, 4 x Jawa 350, 1 x Jawa 500 R, a Jawa Babetta 215 moped and a 1977 GT 550 B (which is not built to last as long as a Jawa and therefore not reliable given its age).
Jawas and CZ bikes are not so much a mode of transport as more like a family pet that happens to be a motorcycle.
Thank you Brian. Kudos to the team for letting me work with all of you. :)
