This is totally 100% for the Love of America. Football and our men in military! (With a little touch of country music in the background) Doesn't get any more American and that! What a beautiful video for real! Thank you Sergeant Pickett for your service to our country! My family and I appreciate you! Warm hugs from katrinka in the San Francisco Bay Area❤️🌴
Thanks for writing, joshua! That's awesome! At the end of the day we're all just people!!! We all bleed red!! I cried many times while editing this video. It puts it all in perspective!
10th Mountain? I think I see that patch. I'm in the Army now and I ship off for Basic on July 15th, 2014. Thank you very much for serving our country and I hope to follow every soldier before me by doing the same.
The sacrifice families make everyday to send loved ones to serve in the military......this happy ending is beautiful. It happened at Loeb Field! It's in the blog: "Shining Moments." Old50Photography rules, obviously.
A soldier in uniform is required to stand at attention and salute while the National Anthem is being played. I'm sure SSG Picket is aware of this but I would imagine the emotions of seeing his son for the first time in a long time were overwhelming so he gets a pass. It's not just the soldiers that make sacrifices, it's their families too. As a veteran of the United States army myself, I'd like to say welcome home SSG Picket. Thank you for your service and sacrifice and God bless you and your family.
Ellen? The Ellen that frequented Epstein island just as often as Bill & Hillary Clinton? The Ellen that designed her talk show set after the temple on top of Epstein island? You made this comment 8 years ago; I hope you have since learned about the crimes against children she and MANY others are guilty of.
Ssgt Brandon Pickett, thank you for. Your service. I. Belong. To. American legion in. Downers grove, Illinois. I. Belong. American. Legion. Auxiliary. Unit. Eighty thank you for. Your service. Thank you for. Keeping us. Safe and. Keeping. Our country. Safe.
Now let's all have a thought for all those kids whose father will never see them play because men like Ssgt. Pickett spread "freedom" and "democracy" to their country.
Men like SSgt. Pickett do what is asked of them on behalf of their country Mr. Shepard. It is a selfless gesture, and I'm certain most of these men and women would prefer to be at home with their loved ones. Senseless deaths always result as a consequence of war; However, many lives are also saved, and nations liberated. These men and women are at the mercy of our government... of us.. they are to be respected for their bravery and sacrifices. You want to change the world.. keep voting.
True, I'll give you that, the soldier is a very brave man to let himself be the tool of another. The problem is not really about the soldier himself, but about the man who's handling him, and no, voting won't change squat, cause leaders who fight just wars simply never existed. By letting himself be the tool of a man ready to throw countless lives away just to satisfy some kind of political plan, the soldier becomes a culprit just as much as his master.
I agree with you on many points, John. However, I disagree that soldiers are the culprits as a result of the ulterior motives of the powers that be. While there are bad apples, most of these soldiers aren't even old enough to psychologically understand and form a well informed opinion. Most dreamed of defending their county on a measure of pride. At one time, and as a tradition, that's what it's was all about. The gesture is in their intentions. They sign up.. then they don't have a choice.
I also disagree on your voting stance. I think voting should be mandatory. The silent majority is very powerful. We can't even know to what magnitude, because they just don't vote... and my goodness don't let it rain on election day! They run a muck in this country on all sides because we let them.
Hmm...How many children won't see their father, or mother, or siblings as a result of those people spreading their intolerance? When they brought their ideals to our nation, to our doorstep. This is not a push or pull door, it swings both ways. At least this "freedom" and "Democracy" gives many that are not involved in the conflict...the 27 million in Afghanistan, the chance to not live in fear of their "leader".
That little boy has soo much love for his dad ❤ Thank you for your service and sacrifice

"Something Real" by Chase Holfelder
Awesome story, and I bet his dad was crazy proud of his son's hilariously blatant clip at 4:23 :) I love pee-wee league.

Thanks for the heads up! Fixed!
:)
There's not an American Military member that would walk around that way when the Star Spangled Banner was playing. Sad to see that happen!
Spare us the false patriotism, B Mack. This man fought for our country and deserves respect.
@@o5pfilms951 going over seas killing people for the government to steal their oil isn`t fighting for our country

Дивлюся про США слюзи на очах
Hey sister this is James Charles
Now he can't play anymore.. 😉
惨忍で人間の心を持たない、ロシア人兵士には、有り得ない事だ。
Does the SSG know what to do when the National Anthem is playing??????
Stupid question. Moving on. 👍🏼
