- The first stage of the game 'Shibuya GG' involves tagging the Bus Terminal within Shibuya-Cho in response to the attacking Love Shockers. Cover up their graffiti and more while avoiding the Police when they arrive.
Time Limit: 600 Seconds (10 minutes)
Tags: 10 - 4 Small / 1 Green, 5 Large, 1 X-Large
Jet: 35,000 points
Police Triggers - 3 tags: Regular Police, 6 tags: Onishima
This stage is pretty simple. It should be as it's the first. Something to note though is that you really want to try and earn some points by chaining tricks. Graffiti tags can earn you points based on your graffiti stat, but it may not be enough.
To unlock all the characters, you will need to earn a 'Jet!' rating on each story stage. This is based on your score, and not how fast you clear it. Naturally, I'll be earning a 'Jet!' rating on every single stage.
There are Love Shockers tagging the Buses in the terminal and on a wall. Bumping into them will cause em' to drop three extra spray cans. They will flee if you get close, so take advantage.
Graffiti Souls. These yellow floating/spinning emblems with the JSR logo are scattered across each stage. Picking one up will unlock a new graffiti tag you can use (tag number indicated in the bottom right corner when collected). Collecting all of them will earn you a trophy, but more importantly-- interesting patterns you can spread across the walls.
So in addition to Jet ratings, I'll be picking up all the Graffiti Souls in any given area.
Thanks. It took awhile to get used to the changed controls, but I think I'm starting to get a feel for them. My tagging speed is getting better too, which was pretty darn slow at first.
3:48 did someone heard him
Good lord this was flawless. I have my work cut out for me 0_0
Well the game was released in Japan first back in June of 2000. North America got the game 4 months later with English text and dubbing (Europe getting it last in November). But of course, considering the setting of the game, just the important parts were translated.
You are absolutely amazing at this game.
God I hope so. They were both such kick ass games.
I did a few test runs and found out that under 30,000 was Nitro and lower. Speeding though the level in a lot of cases will only get you Nitro since the Time Bonus may not be enough. It's score based, except for the Jet! Crush races.
The GG's Begin Their First Mission at Shibuya-Cho is To Find The Culprit Busting into Their Home Turf Around The Bus Route When Beat And His Friends Found The Delinquents Who Are Responsible it Was None Other Than The Love Shockers Lucky For The GG's They Manage To Graffiti Their Paint Job as The Love Shockers Fled Before The Police Arrives Soon After That The GG's Make a Clear Getaway From Captain Onishima
This is the PS3 version. It runs fairly the same as far as I know.
+DMGaina - I haven't done anything to the game. The Playstation 3 version actually had a patch released that fixed a lot of issues with the game. Though it's not perfect, I still consider it a vast improvement to what we had before.
Hellll yeah, second try. Great walkthrough
Awesome dude.
Back in the day, I have a HD version of Jet Set Radio on my PlayStation 3.
Beat is always my favorite. 😎
I almost never go for the Graffiti Souls during the first run of a level; I usually pick them up afterwards in the Jet Technique mission. Seeing both all the souls collected and a Jet rank is pretty impressive.
Question, where did you get the point requirements for Jet? I've never been able to find a concrete answer anywhere.

@@dramblysvienaakis I mark that so people who like that scene can search here.
@@dramblysvienaakis So people who like to hear police radio will search that as well.
@@dramblysvienaakis Because we can hear that part of communication to make me feel entertaining like hearing walkie-talkie. That's all.
Do you edit out the load screens or is your xbox 360 or ps3 so powerful
Edited out. Even PC can't load it that fast (though it can come close)
@@Saestrol I thought you put more RAM in your playstation
Yeah yeah yeahh nice nice 😂
Have you done anything to JSR HD? For most users, the police lights are completely fucked.
I take it this is the xbox version...?
Nice fucking video bro
I'm in Tokyo right now and just found this video on accident. Imma just say, that isn't Shibuya 😁
Judging from the graffiti, signs, police and other stuff, I'm guessing this game takes place in Japan, but the people speak English... VIDEO GAME LOGIC! :D
Yes.
That's how "localization" works.
Then again, I don't know what the voice acting in the Japanese version was like.
