I've never heard of kerr acoustics before but I do like the sound of the speakers.. Even over utube..

Love those speakers! Great aesthetics, great sound. Terry please send this turntable along with the system I asked for yesterday. LOL Nice excursion on that woofer, big detailed sound stage. I really like that tweeter, awesome natural highs.

Its it just me or am seeing low frequency feedback on the woofers? 2;03 into the video look at the woofers.
That could well be because I have slowed the footage down some and its making it look funny?
@@PursuitPerfectSystem Low frequency feedback is a common ail with turntables and its no suggestion that the system is bad or anything. When woofers move like that they are getting feedback and it has to do with placement. Listen to the music and watch those woofers move. They are not moving according to the music. You will sometimes also notice this without any music playing.

Modern vinyl Mastering probably, you need to look for stuff before 1965 if you want a great sound stage front and back and side to side and dynamics, ideally you want a phono stage that is adjustable and have different Curve characteristics like the Manley, especially playing Old Vinyl. And the set-up wouldn't have been a 100% takes weeks months to get it right
Could be anything in the chain. I heard this system and it sound pretty crisp and clear. Not only that, remember that the camera and recording gear are in this particular chain too, of course.
both are are low noise and mostly flat in the freq response but still yes of course :)
@@mrpositronia yes you're probably right, and you need bigger speakers for vinyl bass can be an issue just because the way records are mastered.
What was the sound stage like and dynamics then .
its worth having a schiit Loki or something similar, after your phone stage give you more control on the curve
@@johnsweda2999 soundstage and dynamics can only be described in equally generic terms as good. But, when flitting between rooms and other rooms have floorstanders or otherwise, the stand mounts don't oftrn stand out in that respect. However one room had Falcon LS3/5a speakers playing and they had me awestruck, but they were in a small square room which definitely helped.
