One of the best videos I’ve seen of La Paz. Nicely done. My wife and I lived in La Paz for about 5 months in 2018. Sadly we were forced to leave and moved back to the US when my wife became ill. The good news… we’re planning a trip back to La Paz in September. Looking forward to the trip back and seeing more of your videos of La Paz too.

It seems wild that the public can get so close to the presidential palace, especially after the recent violence. La Paz seems like a fun place that I would love to visit. Since that isn't in the cards any time soon, I am really looking forward to the coming videos, and seeing it through your eyes...or lens!
I was a bit surprised overall, that there were no lasting impacts from that "coup attempt". It seems that the populace here is saying that they want no more of those types of shenanigans. La Paz is fantastic. The only thing is that you need more than a week. It's almost certain that you won't feel great those first two or three days.
The Bolivian population mostly feel that it was a staged coup, the majority is against the political party that has been there since 2006. The coup was only a show to draw attention for the president as the “great defendor” of the country by literally having a “argument” with the general in front of the palace. Was very likely staged, and was also to see if any opposition stood with the “coup” to throw them to jail. Hahahaha, other than the government Bolivia es very unique and wonderful full of live and culture

Hello Richard, great video, very interesting to see the city of La Paz, it is not very well known as a tourist destination but it certainly has a lot of charm! Are you planning a trip back to Mexico at some point?
Thank you for such a nice comment! I'm considering where to travel next fall. I'm thinking Central America at this point, with the possibility of spending a month in Mexico. I would probably focus on the Merida area then.
I'll go with you to The Writers Cafe & the Archeology Museum. (Ethnography & Folklore). The history & cathedrals are fascinating. Go light on maple syrup! Glad to see you're eating healthy. Is it winter there ? I saw coats?
There are some exceptional places to visit here! C'mon along! I love maple syrup, but I probably haven't had any for over a year. It is winter here, but La Paz never gets too hot or too cold. It's 16 degrees from the equator and 12, 000 feet in elevation. Those sort of cancel each other out. Still, it's in the 30s most every night.

15:50 Anticucho is Peruvian Dish. Very popular in Bolivia , made out of cow heart
it might be but the anticucho in Bolivia is much more thinner like 0.5mm
