Bits & Pretzels is an event from founders for founders. The application-only, three-day festival connects 5,000 founders, investors, startup enthusiasts, and all other decision-makers of the startup ecosystem. It pushes for more entrepreneurship and empowers innovation that‘s already there.
The event is loaded with keynote speakers, discussions, and an epic finale at the Oktoberfest. One thing about mobility is that speed is not the ultimate factor of getting from point a to b in the fastest amount of time. You can race a supercar capable of 200mph against a train that travels only 80mph, The car, travels on roads that are by no means in a straight line to ones desired destination. The twists and turns of the roads altered by terrain and towns, road traffic and speed limits add tremendous amounts of overall travel time. Trains and Rail lines are usually more direct, but they too have speed regulations throughout their route. And rail routes, are also constrained by the terrain , traffic and are ment to service multiple locations along their route, locations that alter the path to your main destination. Planes on the other hand pretty much have a direct flight path too and from, although FAA flight regulations have created paths by which commercial aircraft do follow. This is different for light aircraft in that its designated airspace (bravo) is typically free servicing, and recreational. Open for lower altitude flight typically under VFR visual flight rules. This means although a small aircraft may be considerable slow for an aircraft, its still covering far more distance in an extremely short period of time as theirs little to no constraints or obstructions to its path or traveling speed. A direct unobstructed flight.

Its like he thinks he’s the wise old sage on the mountain giving advice to the young little rascal. I’ve never heard an interview like this. He’s activley trying to discourage him for pursuing his goals in this business, whatever he says the old guy is like: *sigh* - But isnt that very hard. It’s like he first heard of Lilium that day, whining: - How are you getting any money for this its so very difficult. Hehe Lilium is only the 2nd highest funded e-vtol project in the world! Thanks for the advice grandpa, it’s ok we got this. :)
