This made me cry on the academic lecture parts bcs I got really frustrated :( I dont think a native would ever be able to talk about these kinds of topics in a limited time, all you would hear from them would be ''uhhmm'' and its really not fair. Now I dont even want to study abroad damn. Edit: It's ok guys I scored 28 on speaking. Just don't over stress it :)
Same, I had to go trough the comments to see If I was the only one struggling. It was too difficult to take notes, and there was just too much information to process in such a short period of time. To collect and organise your thoughts, and compose a 60 seconds long summary in fifteen seconds is just impossible >//////< I wish you do well tho, Goodluck to us.
@@notyourbabe8628 just study the format of the test! A lot of practice is the key because at some point it becomes a natural thing to answer such questions. Study the speaking, reading, listening and writing templates they really come in handy when your mind is blanking. Use some of your break time to write the speaking templates on the blank paper before it starts to get you a starting point. As I said practice a lot and don't JUST use the casual talking bits use a little bit academically advanced words that you're sure about their meaning or fit in a sentence. Good luck!
Native English speaker here. I lived in LA and spoke English for all my life. I just want to say that it's very difficult for me to prepare for and answer the 3rd and 4th questions in the given timeframe due to the information overload. I can't see how international students can answer these questions perfectly given this difficulty.
Thanks for understanding! I have given 6 tests and didn't get 26. I'm nurse and living in Vegas from last 5 years and could not pursue my career due to 26 requirement in speaking. I speak good English but in test and limited time it's hard for students!
Just now I become happy when I read the comments and found that I am not the only one struggling here :D really this test was very hard for me :( But thanks anyway for the videos that was great, good opportunity to practice !
Question no 3 and 4 looks pretty difficult than the actual test material. Even the question 2 doesn't give clear idea about the change. Although it was a good test to practice to avoid last minute surprises.
I feel the urge to cry! when I took my first toefl test I got the highest score on the speaking section, and now It's the most section I'm straggling with! I got a 21/30 but i dont know what's happening at the moment
@@LosAngelesEnglishSchool, you're welcome. I am sharing it to my friends on Facebook and will be sharing time to time. I am taking a TOEFL test soon and your videos will be of great help. God bless!
The only problem with this task is that time is not enough to include all information while speaking. It is difficult even for a native speaker to organize his thoughts to talk incessantly.
I see all the comments are quite positive and encouraging. Can we have other sample responses videos too? This is so helpful indeed. Thank you for your efforts.
@@LosAngelesEnglishSchool You were definitely reading from a script no wonder you do not have a speaking test done live. I feel this video does not help a lot of people since it gives them a false understanding of what they have to do. It is nearly impossible to think for a few seconds and speak like you did. If u did do it without reading then it would be impressive, but dont teach people that thats how theyre responses should be
The 2, 3 and 4 questions are pretty difficult and don't look like the real TOEFL tasks. I've been preparing for a month now, and haven't yet encountered with such difficulty. Other videos of TOEFL Speaking practice are different. The tasks are organized in a more clear way.
@@RandomHistoric hey:) you can just search in RUclips. I don't whether it is appropriate to share there. If you write toefl speaking, there will be plentiful of videos and channels:)

@@rayanabdallah2960 You need to practice a lot - learn new words, enhance your reading & listening skills, improve the speed of your reaction and response, etc.
The sample answers provided in this video seem to correspond more to a carefully writen essay than to a spoken answer given within the time limits from a real TOEFL test. It can be discouraging to see such a complete and perfect answers, better to address they are not realistic, they dont reflect the improvisation and simplified note taking skills necessary to perform well during a real test.
The 3rd and 4th questions are terrible examples for the test. There is no clear logic in what the professors were saying and there is no clear connection with the passage.
I guess you are setting the bar too high. Your answers just made me nervous, a day before my test. ETS itself uses as example what an international student would probably say. I will not come back to your channel.

@GRE preparation That is so true!
I totally disagree. Incidentally, there is no need for the preposition, 'FOR" in, "for all my life". Surely, it should read simply, "all my life".
