WEAR TEST THOUGHTS: I noticed some minor fading but no creasing from the eyeshadow. The foundation held up well but I did get some minor creasing from the concealer. I’ll keep testing everything and share updated thoughts in a future video!
I still haven’t tried the Rare beauty blushes. Every Christmas, I say I’m going to get one of the 3 mini sets, and I never do. So you’re not the LAST last person to try them 😂
As someone who has naturally bushy brows, I like a slightly bigger brow spoolie. Tiny brow spoolies adds a noticeable amount of time to doing my brows.
For the rare beauty blush-I find that just turning the doe foot to the point edge rather than the flat edge gives me better control over the amount, so I’m able to do more than one dot and build as I like. I have the shade Joy, and I loooove it! As long as I get less product by rotating the doe foot, it works perfectly well. :-)
I purchased multiple shades of the new Merit Solo Shadows and they are fabulous. The gray shade, Nelson, is particularly nice, even as a liner. I bought the brush, but honestly, I like the shader brush from the BK Beauty travel brush set even better to blend them out. Any soft, dense, relatively short-bristled eye shadow brush will do. And any liner brush will work to use them as liners. I love the Tower 28 concealer, too, and find that the coverage is amazing if you let it sit for a full minute before blending it out. I also think it looks best WITHOUT powder on top. Amazing concealer.
The shade Hope from Rare Beauty is also a lot easier to use than some other shades. It's a glowy shade, which normally I don't love, but I find it blends out SO much better than the matte shades. I apply 3 dots on each cheek and it always blends out beautifully and lasts so long. If I want to cut back on the glow, I just set it with a translucent powder
I love the Rare Beauty blush! My #1 fav. It has surprising longevity for a liquid blush and melts into my base perfectly. I put a drop on the back of my hand and use 3 fingertips to dot it across the cheeks and nose, with a sponge it tends to disrupt my bronzer/base.I have it in the mauve tone, Encourage, which is perfect for my highly freckled light skin, warm tones tend to look orange over my brown freckles.
It took me the longest to get the Rare beauty liquid blush because I hate super pigmented products in general, however that blush (I have mine in Hope) is EVERYTHING - it’s super pigmented at first but after I powder and set my face, the blush disappears into my skin and gives the most beautiful from within glow and stays all day- it’s magic!!
Yay been waiting for this video to hear your thoughts on the Tower 28 concealer! Love your channel Kelly and appreciate that I can always trust you for your honesty opinion and how genuine you are ❤.
My HG brow product- Milk Makeup kush fiber brow gel, has a tiny baby spoolie! It comes in a ton of shades and a little goes a long way. I've tried so many and it's still my favorite. I used to be all about matte makeup, but as I've gotten older, I love a glow. I have dry skin, so the matte products often dry me out too much or settle into fine lines.
I have the rare beauty blush in worth and I don’t find it that crazy pigmented.. it’s just normal. I’m confused when people say it’s sooo pigmented. It’s normal pigment imo
I have 3 shades of the dewy rare beauty blushes and I enjoy them. I think people kind of exaggerate how much pigment they have for me I typically do like 2-3 dots and blend it out with a brush or sponge and it doesn’t in my opinion look like too much blush. But I do like a more heavy blush. I have plenty of powder and cream blushes that come off just as pigmented. I think they are good blushes but not revolutionary. The reason why I have so many is because I got that set with 1 full size and 2 minis. And I think that set is enough blushes to have for me. I don’t think I’ll get anymore blushes from rare but I did recently get a few things from them and I am excited to try everything
Also I will say typically when I apply the blush I wipe off any extra product and just use what’s left on the applicator so in that way I guess there is less product then if you just use what comes off the applicator right after pulling it out
How do you all store your sponges? I prefer brushes purely because I can store them upright and they aren’t touching anything else. I’m grossed out by the thought of my sponge rolling around in my drawer touching everything, or being in a container that will keep it from drying fully. What do you do??
Thanks Kelly xo Dam I really wish we could get Merit down here in Australia, there are just so many smaller but very popular brands that just don't ship worldwide, I've resorted to E-bay in the past, it must cost alot to ship here, they usually always ship to the UK though IDK but those shipping companies cost a small fortune especially in Aussie dollars. Looking beautiful as always Kelly 😘
Lmao at your reaction to that brow spoolie. I feel you though. The best, unfortunately, is the charlotte tillbury brow mascara bc of its teeny tiny spoolie and cool blonde shade.
I've seen a few reviews of this foundation so far and it is definitely on my wishlist now! It looks beautiful and has great coverage. You're not the last because I haven't tried the Rare Beauty blush either. I have so much blush that I just don't need more.
The REM foundation looks interesting, but I cannot support the lilypad hopper 🐸 🤨 The Tower 28 concealer looks amazing on my mature, dry under eyes; I'm glad I bought it 😊. Thanks for another great video Kelly 👍🏾😉
I have 2 matte blushes and 2 dewy blushes from rare beauty and I have found that the dewy blush is not dewy at all. I think its just a natural finish and they are much more pigmented than the matte ones. The matte ones do dry down to super matte though.
That shadow is so... blah. I do appreciate you mentioning the cost! For $5 more you can get a ND mini palette. I don't even LIKE that brand & think those are a much better deal. So far, that foundation does seem to be stunning, but takes ~15 minutes to dry down. That's a lot for a morning.
I love some items from Rare Beauty but I dislike the blushes. They are far too pigmented for my liking. I first bought it in shade happy and I never use it because of how pigmented it is
I think I might be the only person that prefers a larger spoolie for my thick, coarse brows. The teeny tiny ones are very clean and precise but they can’t do enough heavy lifting 🥲
Anyone else having a hard time with the new rem foundation looking cakey? No matter what I do, excellent skin care, primer, setting, not setting, and it just looks cakey and the end of the especially. I don't like it...

Maybe you should try to keep the eyebrow spoolies to try with bigger spoolied projects like some do with mascara:)
I still haven’t tried the Rare beauty blushes. Every Christmas, I say I’m going to get one of the 3 mini sets, and I never do. So you’re not the LAST last person to try them 😂
@@chiknlittleoh I'm on the same boat. Maybe one day
Love the rare beauty blush, I hope they make more mini sets of them. I have a mini in the color Joy and it will probably take me forever to use up

I don't know how it looks IRL, but on camera, that foundation looks like a spot-on shade match for you. It looked very natural on too.

I like to scrape off the excess, and then apply. Haven't gone overboard since I started doing that. Saw it in a video once
I agree. I have the same shade and use the tip of the doe foot like you. I use about 3 teeny tiny dots and it’s enough!
The Milani eyeshadow primer is THE BEST!! I work 12 hours and then workout and my eyeshadow still looks great
You’re glowing with this makeup :) I think the full look is a hit, including the eyebrows!

I am also team eye primer all the way. Using the Lottie London mascara-love it! Thanks for the haul and the look. 🩷🩷

@17:17 I haven't worn a sparkle gloss since middle school ... in 2003. Maybe it's time to give them another chance!

You're not the last because I haven't tried the Rare Beauty blush either. I have so much blush that I just don't need more.
Still haven’t tried the rare beauty blushes so you aren’t the only one lol. I’m just such a regular blush gal and I already have so many 😩🤣
Loving the blush!
Rare beauty blush hack: 1 dot of color. 1-2 dots of the liquid highlight. I blend with a sponge. It’s so much less intimidating and stunning!
The REM foundation looks interesting, but I cannot support the lilypad hopper 🐸 🤨
The Tower 28 concealer looks amazing on my mature, dry under eyes; I'm glad I bought it 😊. Thanks for another great video Kelly 👍🏾😉
Shades look great! Beautiful!
Beautiful! 🤗💜 Thanks for picking up Swipe!
Blush is so pretty!
Rare beauty is 20% off tomorrow. any other items from the line you’d recommend? Like to get it while it’s on sale
I have 2 matte blushes and 2 dewy blushes from rare beauty and I have found that the dewy blush is not dewy at all. I think its just a natural finish and they are much more pigmented than the matte ones. The matte ones do dry down to super matte though.

It all looked beautiful! 💛🌻
You aren't the last person to try that blush. I haven't tried it either. 🤷♀️
Me neither and tbh I am not tempted either
I follow you for a month approsimatevely. I appreciate your videos. Hughes from Roma Italy
❤
Do you think the colourpop powder is similar to the kosas cloud set? I’ve heard they my be dupes.
I love some items from Rare Beauty but I dislike the blushes. They are far too pigmented for my liking. I first bought it in shade happy and I never use it because of how pigmented it is
Thanks for confirming the horns was outside your house. I was sure they were coming from outside my window 😂😂😂
What sponge do you use?
Your brows look great. Sometimes you just need to get used to the change. ❤
Your skin looks great you don't even need foundation
I think I might be the only person that prefers a larger spoolie for my thick, coarse brows. The teeny tiny ones are very clean and precise but they can’t do enough heavy lifting 🥲
👍👏
❤❤
Your lashes are long! Is there a reason you don’t curl them?
💜💚💙
Benefit brow products have tiny spoolies
Glowy but not hoey 😂
😊🫶
I had a reaction to the rem concealer.... I wanna try the foundation but I'm scared 😅
I’m really enjoying the foundation so far!!
@KellyGooch oh good to hear! I know you're sensitive also.
I didn't like the REM concealer either. I gave it to my 14 yo
Anyone else having a hard time with the new rem foundation looking cakey? No matter what I do, excellent skin care, primer, setting, not setting, and it just looks cakey and the end of the especially. I don't like it...
Is your right ear ok? The piercing looks a little infected and ouchy. ❤
Lol butt first
What’s with the constant honking in the background?😮
It’s nyc
as a big brow haver I cannot stand tiny spoolies! they take forever to use
