This might be up there as one of the best sets i have ever seen. Such an otherworldly experience, void of any "look im the DJ!" arrogance seen in todays live scene, with a visual spectacle that perfectly blends. I was at Field day 2023, and while incredible, seeing that has made me wish I went to bristol for this. Much better set, crowd and just general vibe!
I seen him at Field day and it was wicked, I have to say he saved the best for Bristol tho..that sounded phenomenal 👏 Well done to the person who recorded this..All those new tunes..woohoo😊👍👉
Truly insane performance, it was such an experience being part of that crowd. Felt like waking up from a real elaborate dream when his set ended. I can cross “doing the Macarena at an Aphex gig” off my bucket list now lol
7\ This set and the one at Best Kept Secrets are probably the best two live sets I've seen from him this year, this is his last tour for the year i think. 7\
Thanks for uploading, what an amazing gig. A mate and I have been hoping for months that we'd get a treat with it being the last show of the tour. And he fudging delivered🙂
Gig was amazing, favorite set I've seen him play. I also really loved the 40 minutes or more of his lights vibing and test visuals before the set. Was such a ridiculous vibe, like a bonus Aphex Twin/Weirdcore AV set. Thankyou
This was hands down the best electronic set I've ever seen, the sense of trolling but also storytelling through the set I felt was a representation of uk bass music in its whole and the reason for us making it is to escape all the horrible people that run the country and feed us this dreadful austerity and corruption, we rave to counter these ideals. Changed my life and thought process of producing and djing!
brilliant set, glad to say i was there, and to tell the truth the best part was the visuals, just at the start of the video now but can’t wait to see how the camera picks up some of the more intense ones at the end 😂
@@greystarmusic He did the same at WHP and Printworks gigs a few years back. Debuted about 20-30mins of unreleased traks. Wouldn't be surprised as all sounds very very much like the idiosyncratic work of Richie
In fact idk if you have noticed, these are some of the traks that he played at those gigs (obviously edited and improved since) ''WHP trk5'' references this.
I was hoping for a bit of respite but still danced for about 7-8 hours yesterday. I’m. 52. Bonkers. Just what you need. It was great weather too, and fragrantly herby on the Clifton 😜😉. It went off - I was back in the nineties. Seen Orb and Orbital this year too, after a stop at Liberty Services 😂 🍄
Some guy gave me and my friend a DMT pen around this point in the set. My friend took a fat hit and I remember him freaking out having to sit down whilst Mangle 11 was blaring, had to attend to him so I missed experiencing this track live.
Sound transition at 5:25 is perfect and sequence from 6:30 i also great sound, with bits of acid and nice bass and kicks rly rly like it, wish i was there

I was at Field day 2023, and while incredible, seeing that has made me wish I went to bristol for this. Much better set, crowd and just general vibe!
I seen him at Field day and it was wicked,
I have to say he saved the best for Bristol tho..that sounded phenomenal 👏
Well done to the person who recorded this..All those new tunes..woohoo😊👍👉
actually seething with jealousy cos i went field day but the tracklist for bristol looked so much better 😭
This was about as good as it gets, spectacular gig
An insane experience. I turned to look at the crowd behind me and everyone's faces were 😮🤩
He played the tuss❤
I was 4 rows back getting my face blown off!!! Both days of forward’s were amazing.
If the Apocalypse has an after party, this was it. Truly amazing night. Nothing can touch this. It was just as well Primal Scream weren't headlining.
Truly insane performance, it was such an experience being part of that crowd. Felt like waking up from a real elaborate dream when his set ended. I can cross “doing the Macarena at an Aphex gig” off my bucket list now lol
I was there the bass was so hard it vibrated my bones UNREAL set
So happy I was there.
the ground was actually shaking
Could feel it rattling my brain around my skull, INSANE.
The bass was unreal!! Had the best night of my life in Bristol!! 😁
The bass was the the most insane thing I've felt in my life. And sooooo crystal every tone was just decibally on point
that was the highlight of my year
I'm glad he did his ambient works...
This is the BEST APHEX TWIN LIVE Since Bang Face 🎉
Westcuntry massive
Bangface '12 is still the best aphex gig of all time
Thanks for uploading, amazing gig. Met him in the smoking area at BLOC after his set one year. What,a legend
This set was bonkers, first time seeing aphex 100% delivered on expectation and exceeded. INTENSE!
Complete mindfuck verging on illegal……absolutely epic.
7\ This set and the one at Best Kept Secrets are probably the best two live sets I've seen from him this year, this is his last tour for the year i think. 7\
What a night!! What a maestro !! I can re live it 😃 cheers!
Thanks very much for uploading, great set 👍🏻
Was so excited to see this show , now I will spend the rest of my days trying to figure out exactly what I saw, the enigma of Aphex Twin
Jealous of all the concertgoers 😩 I need to see aphex live!
We love U James❤
Ty for filming this, friggin train strikes stopped me coming sadly.
17:00 with the lasers, when the rosendal track started. so serene and pretty 😶🌫
oh shit it’s like a donkey rhubard 2
Thanks for uploading, what an amazing gig.
A mate and I have been hoping for months that we'd get a treat with it being the last show of the tour.
And he fudging delivered🙂
Oh my god, thank you so much to make us feel like we were there too!!!
Changed my life and thought process of producing and djing!
big up for this recording. Thank you.
Wasn’t stood too far from you! Thanks for recording this and doing such a great job, superb achievement 👏
The track before Synthacon has some mad funk chords action. Damn.
brilliant set, glad to say i was there, and to tell the truth the best part was the visuals, just at the start of the video now but can’t wait to see how the camera picks up some of the more intense ones at the end 😂
that funky deranged church organ at 04:30 is such a JOY. Then the bass kicks in. DAMN!
0:00 Charles Dodge - Speech Songs: The days are ahead
Phenominal set, thanks for this upload. Undisputed goat!
I was so fucking happy when he started playing Nightmail 1.
he is in a great mood...
Always nice to hear afx live. While i prefer his more ambient music, its always nice to melt your face off too
39:32 EPROM - 666-acid
bass blew my pants off
Yep, strongest bass of the set, glad I didn't need the toilet 😂
Top notch recording! Lovely job 👍7\
Can we do it all again this weekend please!
attempt to tracklist, will continue to edit with found ID's. feel free to contribute.

Curious if that full first 15 minutes is Unreleased AFX.. if so a lot of new material debuted in this one

HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE
King of electronica!!!!
he played amy sonar distortion track :D thnx for that
he played your track at the netherlands set (best kept secret festival) earlier as well, watch that too, it's the second to last
It was really intense. By the end I think the crowd were secretly hoping for some Ambient Works 2... Then they got attacked
😂😂😂
I was fully ready and prepared to have my phace melted, centre front stage
Honestly I wanted 3 more hours just T A K E M e e e e e e e
Amazing show, has to be one of two of the most intense experiences of my life.. this set, and the other live set at Dour Festival 🤘❤️🔥🤯
Lyrical blow to the jaw... My senses are prosecuting Richard for GBH, talk about an audio-visual assault!!
My ears were ringing last night, i was right in the middle near the front. Fucking brilliant
unforgettable set. richard never fails to amaze 🤩
That was mental thanks for recording it !
Best set I’ve ever seen no doubt!!!!
Wish i was there!!! amazing 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for sharing that, Amazing set, Looked and sounded like a reverse set in the last few minutes. Brilliant.
thank you for the video
WWooowwww Awesome!!!
damn this set is amazing!
So much acid!!!! 🔥 🔥 🔥
Vordhosbn 😭 What a moment
Can hear the base through this video. Damn!
I appreciate your arm muscles
OMG, the setlist is insane!
03:36 is so goddamn good holy shit
10th time seeing him and definitely up there with the best.
thank you sooo much!!
Would love a tracklist for this lol
Working on it
@@greystar321 legend! looking forward to it
Made a play list got a few of the tracks
1:20:40 mangle 11!!!
😂 like being attacked by acid wasps and venetian snares at the same time
Some guy gave me and my friend a DMT pen around this point in the set. My friend took a fat hit and I remember him freaking out having to sit down whilst Mangle 11 was blaring, had to attend to him so I missed experiencing this track live.
Anyone know the track @ 27:00 in
loving all the acid and breaks. real hardcore music
A true wizard
Sound transition at 5:25 is perfect and sequence from 6:30 i also great sound, with bits of acid and nice bass and kicks rly rly like it, wish i was there
