Got my first pair of JK’s a week or two ago. The shadow bison. Beautiful boot. Turned around and ordered a pair of the honey bison super duty’s. Had a little snafu while ordering them on my phone on a Sunday evening . It somehow switched my 10.5 E order to 4.5 D. Called them in the morning and they took care of it with no problems.
Just got my OT Redwood today.... my foot with socks measures 11 inches long (8 -8.5) in other shoes. I got JK size 7 - 5E . They have some room , but i wear Darn Tough socks. What i love the most is the toe box room. I have Whites boots and Nicks too. I am waiting on my 300x boots from JK. Congrats man...
I have ordered pair of Bison Superduty, they are to arrive some time in March next year (longer lead time) From what you said, i am sure i made the right decision :)
So based on their JK's website. Their "D" width is their narrow size and "E" width is their regular width size. Nicks regular/ most common fit size is their "D" width and their Narrow size is their "C" width or "B" width. Hope this helps.
That's a pretty good deal on some killer boots!!! So very pleased that J.K. did right by You... and those lead-times! This right here is what the PNW Boots community have been waiting for imho: the materials and quality without the wait! Can You describe the feel difference between the J.K. and Nicks a bit better? I just had a similar experience. Customer service definitely took care of me. I’ll be a customer for life. I spoke to I think his name was Nathan the sales manager.
I’ve been wearing whites, nicks, and now JK’s for about 19 years, always honey vibrahm. They are way more grippy , but they do wear a bit quicker than the black ones.
