"Ticket machines do not provide change" So a passenger who arrives at an A Line Station has but $5 with them. They either insert the $5 and lose the $3.25 or walk to their destination. Stupid planning decisions. I live in Winnipeg, Canada where they are building Phase 2 of BRT. We do not have off-board fare payment. They are talking about it because there have been too many incidents of violence from people who do not pay or slower boarding because there are too many students (4 beeps on our Peggo card) boarding at once on Graham Ave. Transit Mall.
