I would love for this woman to go and run for another country, Jamaicans don't deserve her greatness. Most of you treat this woman and her abilities with hate. The hate and bad mind I've seen from some fellow Jamaicans is madness. A majority of people commenting know nothing about training tactics and strategies to get an athlete where they need to be. This woman is exceptional and loves her country. The support for her should be unconditional. Instead, athletes are pitted against each other. Yes, we all have our favorites, but let's support them all without all this static. At the end of the day, she's representing the black, green, and gold. Geez

The moment I heard that she was gonna do the 400 I was never expecting her to win to be honest cause she don't take the 400 seriously, she only used it for speed endurance for the 200. Anytime she came in the 400 she never came with the intention to win, she did the same thing last year by running the first 300 hard then stopped at the last 100 so it's nothing new, she was most likely running on instructions.

Omg! Come on now I don't think Elaine deserves this. No man this girl is super strong after all the criticism she is still standing. Someone once said the reasons why people hate.
1 You have something that they don't
2 They need to put you down to feel good about themselves
3 They want to be the center of attention
4 They are bitter about something
5 They lose sight of contentment
6 They stop counting their blessings and start counting the blessings of others.
Quote. "Haters will see you walking on water and say it's because you can't swim".
How To Not Be A Hater. 1Peter 2:1-2
Therefore, rid yourselves of every kind of evil and deception, hypocrisy, jealousy and every kind of slander. Like newborn babies, thirst for the pure milk of the word so that by it you may grow in your salvation.
    Proverbs 14:30
A heart of peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.

Elaine the Grung Plane. After the 300m mark I felt her pain 😫 I'm a little worried with her time here.ETH's PB is 55.88 (2019)she usually opens her season with a time somewhere between 55-56, but this is over a minute. Her strategy (If there was one) is different that in her previous 400m openers. Here she started much faster, blazing 250m, hung on to 300m then ran out of gas. Her form fell apart, knees dropped and head started rocking side to side, then came to a full stop across the line. In previous races she would blast the first 100m, then keep a more even pace. Her form never wavered, and she would finish in that 55-56 range. This is apart of the process and those around her will use this race and make the necessary changes that she needs to have a good 2023 season. I know ETH is a fighter, All the best.

This a strength race for Elaine not about winning..she's a short sprinter!..Every short sprinter does this if they intend to run the 200m this year..who gonna just run the 100 do a 200m strength race..like Shelly who just intend to run the 100 alone this year..she ran the 200 earlier in her open season last week!

I am curious about the woman in lane 2. She basically wore P.E. clothes and ran a 1:09, which is junior high level. Did she win a contest to race against professionals? If so, what an honor. Just curious.

Her name is Namita KABAT. One of several athletes from India currently training in Jamaica. It was an open competition where athletes like her can participate. The culture of the female Indian where clothing is concerned is different.

You can almost hear elaine talking to her coach ahead of that...."Really coach? 400m???" Ha haaa. I think we will see big things from elaine in the 100 & 200m this year. She was never fully fit last year. I'm saying it now, this season sub 10.5.

Yeeesss,, Me,s an outsider saw so many times how d Jamaicans athletes ~ especially d women side~they were not UNITED s a Nation(Jamaican's Citizen)divided into certain² grouping,,where they clearly celebrating their victory only among their selected athletes friends!! Ther4, its not good 4 d long run in d Jamaican's Athletic Association itself!! Of course, I understood d sense of JEALOUSY in a small nation with a HIGH % of track&field World's standard Victories achieved!!😊😅(women's SenCVT)😅😂Anyway, PLEASSSE... all of u r already what we called~ "PROFESSIONAL"🤓😝🤔Dont easily to get Hurt when somebody else 'over take' yr #1(top position) place... n then do a 'show boating' acts at their victory celebration!!🎉😊😢😮😅😂Be Calm n just deny that!!~ especially when u r an " Old Timer" & being so long s a 'Professional Athletes!! Theres No need to create groups & deny others among d same Jamaican's Camp!! Threats all yr Country women athletes d same!! Nitizens Understood/Knew that ~S we get Older, Our SenCVT/Get Touched feels will be Greater,,God's will & She Created d Sense!!
