Hi Heratch I want to buy PSR A3000 and want to ask you one question. How can I convert MP3 or any Audio Song into Styles and modify it to suit/fit my needs to play with?
Good Keyboard BUT only has 512 MB Expansion Pack Memory it SUCKS! you can only fit 1 or 2 pack in it, Is there a way to change the chip to 1 Gig or more?
Well, its a good idea but there so many challenges. The A3000 has mega voices, which are velocity dependent articulation, so for example, if the midi file's bass track is programed at velocity 100, and you want to use the great mega voices in the A3000, then all of them will sound slap articulation. .... and there are many other challenges I can think of... Are these midi files specifically for the A3000 or are they just standard midi files ?
+Heratch Touresian , Thanks for your prompt response. I was hoping all those settings and parameters could be tuned properly via the "Groove edit" tab later. Guess, not. Thanks again and keep up the good work. In addition, thanks to all personnel who worked on this project.
If I understand correctly, Do you mean if you have MIDI file, can you import the midi event to the style tracks ? If thats what you mean, then the answer in no.
+Heratch Touresian Thanks for taking your time and replying to my concern. Yes, that is my intention. I was hoping by entering all the necessary midi tracks (at once) be able to build styles with correct timing events and note duration. Creating "Style" is easy but building "intros" and "Fill in" are time consuming. Specially once you want them sound good. Don't get me wrong. I bought the PSR-A3000 few weeks ago and am a very happy camper. I think Yamaha did a great job by producing it. I just wanted it to know if there is an easier way to do this.
Could easily have used the term "Middle-east and Eastern" music without losing the significance of the content.. Otherwise what exactly is "world music"?

Sounds have not improved at all from the A1000. Still cheesy and synthetic.
A keyboard for talibanian music... :D
