There's not another great up-front backpack damage talent for PVP. If you don't want Vigilance, I'd maybe opt for the NinjaBike pack, and do 2x Yaahl, 1x Walker & Harris, Foxes, Contractors
Stats don’t show the SHD levels being removed, even in conflict, but the extra stats are indeed removed. Mainly, from Conflict being a 6 year old mode, and the SHD levels being removed is a recent change from less than a year ago.
@@abyssphantom6786 I heard about it but seriously I don't notice the difference. It's been told that SHD lvls is removed in Dark sone too. I gone in fire range and in dz to see the crit damage difference on npcs (I had weapon boost perk off on spec tree). They were exactly the same damage. Now although I dont play as much in 2nd game anymore, and I can't test it on players because I am a lone wolf lol.
@ for the DZ, SHD levels are still always enabled. Only in conflict are they disabled. However, Non invaded DZs use the normalized (PvP) stats for guns and perks, when aplicable. Expertise upgrades also apply everywhere except for Conflict, so those work in DZs too. And lastly, Invaded DZ uses the full stats for all weps, damages, and perks iirc.
Using this stealth build as a starting point, what if any changes would you make for using the build solo in the DZ? I'm not thinking of a DZ PVP build, but rather a stealth build that would allow for raiding SHD chests (and fighting NPCs) and being able to extract items successfully without getting your rope cut by rouges. My general playstyle is ranged from cover so I know in the DZ to avoid PVP as it is usually pointblank range with the “chicken-dance” and I will usually lose. I have generally avoided using Pulse (skill and linked laser pointer) as it will alert any player(s) in the vicinity (or that you aim at using the linked laser pointer) and motivate them to hunt me down. I usually only use the Pulse skill just before I am going to attach to the extraction rope (when I am at a fair distance from the extraction site) to check for players in the area. If I see them pulsed, I usually abandon the extraction. If it is clear (or if they are Pulse resistant like me and I am unaware of them) then I run to the rope in the last few seconds before the chopper leaves and attach for extraction. I appreciate your thoughts on this topic (and maybe you might do a video on solo stealth non-PVP DZ play?).
Hey! I think you might enjoy the main build that I run for the DZ solo. In the gameplay for the build breakdown, you'll see me play more aggressively and out of cover, but you can very easily use it more passively and in cover 👉 ruclips.net/video/MryHRWulVKY/видео.htmlsi=JWLO56P2LvG2ZJZH
@@RogueGold Thanks, I did see the video but that "Slayer 3.0" build seems like a DZ PVP build, not at all Pulse resistant or stealthy. I was hoping you might have something for DZ that can stand up to some PVP when attacked but otherwise utilizes Pule resistance and stealth to outwit the opposition. This would need to use Yaahl or System Corruption but I was hoping you might have ideas on what the best combination of pieces to use. But no worries I'll keep experimenting.
@CaptainEyebrow-mt5mm Gotcha, my apologies I misread and misunderstood your comment to think you were asking for a non-stealth DZ build. Something to keep in mind is that no build, no matter how good it is, can "protect" you from PVP and/or rope cutting. As soon as you call in an extraction, players will know where you are, and where your loot is going to be hooked. That said, there are some recommendations I could make if your intention is purely to survive, and divert attention long enough to get your loot out. 1. Utilize the Memento Exotic backpack, this will let you build up stacks of power from killing NPC's, and then use that power to last longer in a PVP fight. 2. Utilize the Technician Specialization, and use 1x Wyvern and 1x Golan alongside 3x Yaahl for a skill damage/pulse resistance hybrid. This would allow you to use skills like the Stinger Hive to try and shut down extraction sites, and defend your loot. Overall- I do firmly believe that player skill/choice in the moment is more valuable than what build you're running. from what read on a couple forums is that the weapon might be bugged. so my next question to you is when trying to recalibrate the talent is it not showing you any available options at all or are seeing anything telling you to upgrade your work bench?
Wouldn't it be better to use Umbra with ninjabike and 2 pieces yhaal + a pulse mod? That way you dont have conditional dmg such as vigilance and spotter dropping from dmg taken or another pulse immune build. Or is it less overall dmg?
Umbra is certainly a very good and viable way you could also set this up. I probably won't go that way personally, as my Nemesis would lose a lot of damage, but if you're strictly relying on your primary that could definitely be a good option 👍
There's currently no way to upgrade it to 40 if you have one below that level, unfortunately. I do recommend holding onto your copy though, in case the Devs do make that an option in the future
